I don't get that comparison. Aerosmith didn't add anything to rock that didn't already exist. I find their music annoying.

I will have to see them- hearing you talk about the show has sold me. Like I said I like them more every day. Rush covered paint it black at the Sars festival-what a great tune. Sympathy for the Devil has to be a top ten tune of all time.

I guess we are going to have to agree to disagree

as Guns and Fuhking roses were one of if not the best rnr bands of the late 80's- early 90's

They did start to suck and Axel has gone down faster than Anna Nicole on Rich old dudes cock money

I suggest to anyone that does not like G'N'R to give a listen to the cd..

Guns and Roses

The Live Era

Its simply Amazing

The used to rock-even Done with Mirrors with jimmy Crespo replacing Joe Perry rocked out. After that they sobered up and went puzzy pop.

So do I, it all sounds the same. Some of their early stuff was good, but it's all been beat to death.

My grandmother told me a cool story one year... When Joe Walsh was a young kid -- him and his grandmother use to go to my grandmothers farm and buy eggs...

Therefore --- I'm assuming his grandmother lived in St. Joe...

Surely Joe Walsh didn't grow up and go to school in Joe Town did he ????

I guess you havnt heard Chinese Take out-GNR newest crap fest ten years in the making. They played a song called Better today- It sounds like a d#ckwad singer turned Howard Hughes recluse-got drugged up for ten years between taking breaks to tie up and rape models. It was all over the place and sucked.

I used to rock on GNR back when I had a bootleg of Live Like a suicide. Nobody had even heard of them-then Sweet Child hit MTV and it was over for that band.

Appetite for Destruction was a good enough album, but like most bands the moment they had a nickel they lost their edge.

A native of Wichita, Kansas, Walsh's father (his biological father died in a plane crash) moved frequently due to his work and subsequently moved the family to NYC. Later, Walsh moved to Montclair, New Jersey and attended Montclair High School. He spent time in various bands playing around the Cleveland area while attending Kent State University.

I don't find Aerosmith to be catchy, and I've never gotten past Steven Tyler's voice. I don't think you can like a band if you don't like the singer's voice. I'd put Bob Dylan in that category as well.

Not to mention causing riots and screwing their loyal fans over. Chinese Dirty Knees will be a joke IF is is ever released-oh hell it allready is. I have heard 3 tracks and they are horrible-Disco meets the Munsters.
