Come on Spags. I want this kid getting more snaps. Think he’s earned it.

Felix Anudike Uzomah only had five pass rush reps against the Falcons, but he's starting to move things quicker and thinking less. Given how few snaps he gets, I feel like I've seen him a fair bit this year. I think he's progressing well.
I also mentioned this in the game thread, but does he look more stout this year? Did he gain a bunch of muscle weight? Granted, we didn't see him a lot last year to build a memory of him, but seems like that to me. |
By January the DL will rival Spags' Giants unit, with Omenihu returning.

Keep in mind, he's still only 22 years old. He almost had a sack/fumble on Cousins at the end of the 2nd, that was negated by a penalty. He's showing some good movement. Needs more snaps.

I feel like he's flashing a little bit.

Would it be safe to assume, after three games, that FAU is playing well against the run, but isn't quite there yet with the passing game?
Dude played 18, 12, and 14 snaps against the Ravens, Bengals, and Falcons, and the defense has been pretty study against the run, especially off tackle. |

I'm starting to believe that FAU should be in a 2 point stance which would help his slow reaction time when the ball is hiked.
|
Even if FAU ends up being trash, it looks like we hit on Chamarri Conner. I know different position but they cancel each other out a little.

If he can't quite figure out the edge-rush game, he could put on 15 pounds and play DT and probably do a decent job there.
