So much anger in you. He was no doubt overpaid and I never tried to justify that.

I'm only "angry" when dipshits like you justify players that don't meet their salary-to-production ratio should be given a "break".

Nope.

Nope.

I never justified anything about his salary, only that the only reason he was cut was because they ****ed up the salary cap. You're trash.

Not surprised Maclin signed with the Ravens. They made way more sense than Buffalo - http://besreport.com/ravens-maclin-ideal-fit/

If only he could have produced when the Chiefs really needed him.

That's the story of Houston, Charles, Kelce and various other Chiefs through the years. They go dark when the play-off lights are bright... or get hurt.

Would be nice, for once, for them to rise to the occasion...or get a favorable call. I cant remember KC ever getting a questionable call in their favor...really ever...not one instance. They have always been on the wrong side of the officiating...in critical moments.

The Real Reason Maclin was Released

Bob Fescoe says he got this info from people within the organization. Claims that these people said Maclin was cut primarily for being 'malcontent'.

I dont know who those guys are...but they are parasitic media trolls. Maclin is gone due to being too expensive...nothing more nothing less. If he was a **** up...Reid would already have know it and wouldn't have brought him here.

There isnt one credible instance of him being a "malcontent" before this junk hit-piece

Quit listening to whoever this was....they are using drama to build an audience,

How do you know? You are in the locker room with the Chief players?

The main reason was clearly that we needed money but keep in mind Maclin did great his first year here, well worth the money spent. Second year not so much but he explained he was going through personal problems.

I am not convinced this story has no merit. It is not like we are loaded at WR with an elite QB who can make decent WRs look great or some 2-14 team that hasn't been in the playoffs in years. There had to be more than one factor in this decision. Maclin is a lot better than he showed last season I think we can all agree on that and I don't Dorsey and Reid would disagree.

I trust Dorsey and Reid but I definitely think this story makes sense when you consider everything. I could be wrong but you don't know that. It's all speculation.

I'm curious now, and it's a legit question. What are some key questionable calls that have helped the Chiefs in the playoffs? We can all document the calls the other way:

1. Holding on Szott.
2. Calling Tony G. out of bounds.
3. Not penalizing the other team for delay of game when they covered their uniforms in cooking oil.
4. Phantom holding call on Fisher in the game-tying play.
5. Forcing a healthy Jamaal to leave the game for concussion protocol.

What are some calls that helped the Chiefs? We should be able to name the same number if it's a random event.

There is no question that KC ends up on the shit side of calls. No point in dwelling on it.

It needs to instead shine the spotlight on the urgency to get Mahomes ready for 2018. The League must create more "young and exciting QBs", and with him starting, the Chiefs will get more favorable calls.

6. Phantom offensive PI on TG in the 1st drive of the Colts/Manning play-off game. They had to settle for a FG and lost by 3.

Not post season but...

7. Offensive PI on Sherman? vs. the Cardnials the erased a TD...then Smith threw an INT. Then another call against Kelce late. They dominated that game if I remember right..
That loss kept KC out of the play-offs at 9-7.
