That's the play the Broncos couldn't execute

Yeah you are right the division tie breaker between the Vikings and Lions is first so the three way tie based on record with the Eagles doesn’t have an impact. |

Will the Vikings pass on 3rd down is the million dollar question...
|
Or 2nd down.
|
Must be nice to have a guy who makes catches like that
|
Minnesota's kicker looks like a teenager
|
damn lucky there Minn
|
Went in the kitchen to putter around getting dinner ready and now GB is only down 2?!
WOW |
Dagger
|
Bad under throw by Darnold but it works out
|
Games like this are really fun to watch when they don't involve the Chiefs.
|
Detroit is in danger next week
|
Vikes have let the pack back in 2x this season.
and this is a one score game. Should be winning by more :) |
OConnell is so good
|
Vikings usually Viking but you could make a decent argument they're going to be the best coached team in the NFC playoffs, except for maybe the Rams.
|
vikings/lions for the one seed
gonna be ****ing EPIC |
Darnold with very unCousins throws to win it.

If they win, that same tie is the same as a win. |

Because you clearly don't even know that Darnold leads every passer-specific stat within the QBR stat you've mentioned like 10 times now over Love and only trails overall QBR because he's been sacked a ton.... that's about as blind as you can get. |

The other big thing is now Washington can win out and move up the ladder.
They win tonight and next week they can move up and stick the Packers with the 7 seed and a trip to Philly. |
Eagles locked into the 2 seed now too.
|
We know what the late game will be now. What other games really matter?

I remember the MVP talks last year; it’s a real mystery what happened to him in 2024 |
I think a lot will ride on how this SNF game goes. Falcons play a huge role in all of this because if they lose the Rams are in, but it also lets Tampa back into play.
Pretty good odds next week comes down to the NFC North title, NFC South title and whether the Broncos can beat the Chiefs. Not the most exciting final week ever. |

Seems kind of obvious. CMC only played 4 games. |

The Vikings are going to choke in the playoffs, it's a guarantee.

That's good shit. LMAO |
Green Bay played the worst game I have seen from them recently.
Blown coverages, missed tackles, and drops all day and they lose by 2. |

If i'm taking a QB for this year, it's Darnold and i honestly wouldn't need to think about it. |
the lions should rest starters tomorrow.

That's hard to come back from. ;) Until he took off this year he was the most confusing "bust" of recent QB's. His college tape was great. |

The absolutely can beat anyone in the NFC, including Philly. They just can't fall far behind because their script does not work doing that. |
Chiefs fan in MN - just watched the Vikings vs Packers with my neighbors. That game helps put in perspective some of our close games. KC truly knows how to WIN close games. The Vikings made multiple moves to make that game as close as it was with way more time on the clock than it should have been.
Easier to observe when my emotions are calm and in check - I hope MN wins next week and meets us in Super Bowl - Could be our first one that we get to enjoy the 4th quarter stress free!!! |
Speaking of QBR, Aaron Rodgers was graded 1.2 out of 100 today. That's incredible, haha

I wonder what would happen to Darnold’s numbers if Jefferson got hurt |
What will be the two Saturday games and the SNF game during Week 18?
Seems likely that Minnesota/Detroit will be the SNF game. |

he'd just distribute the ball to Addison/Hockenson/Jones. Purdy's issue is that he doesn't have any arm strength, so he can't threaten the secondary with deep passes. Darnold can. |

NGL tonights matchup feels interesting, its not very often these two teams meet... and even less frequent when they both meet with up and coming young hotshot QBs

Then they pivot to the next WR, Sherfield or whoever. The thing you keep missing is that Purdy can't throw down the field anywhere close to what Darnold can, so while Purdy's efficiency tanks when he loses CMC (and to a much lesser extent, Aiyuk), Darnold has the arm to just keep firing. |
Great anthem.

Both were elevated by the huge weapons around them |
I'm no Purdy fan but Darnold is on his 4th team for a reason. He backed up Purdy last year and they never once considered putting him ahead of Purdy. Heck the only reason he is in Minnestoa is because their 1st round pick got hurt and they needed a warm body to throw to the best WR in the game.

Fun trivia: Matthew McConaughey happens to be a Washington Redskins fan. For a born and bred texan, this was rather surprising. Just goes to show you how special and unique the NFL is when it comes to team fandom.

Because I sat Nabers I need a monster game from Daniel’s to win my fantasy title , Mahomes on the bench hurts too would have won.

No, because Darnold is significantly more accurate downfield than Purdy. That's what you're missing. Purdy's efficiency was completely supported by the fact that CMC is Marshall Fualk. A RB that can run the entire route tree, run option routes, hots, etc. And since he mostly lines up in the backfield or the slot, he's not coverable by any LB/S. So he's open immediately every single time, within 10 yds of the LoS. Without CMC, Purdy had to try and force passes beyond the sticks, and every defense sat on the sticks this season when they figured out Purdy couldn't throw deeper with any consistency. Purdy is just a more durable version of Tua. Darnold can throw accurately and with velocity much farther than Prudy, so he'd still be effective without JJ, just not quite as efficiently. But the plays would still be there, and Darnold could still make the throws. |
Let’s see how he does without two defensive TDs. Not good so far.

Cousins is smarter/higher football IQ than either Darnold/Purdy, but that's not surprising. Darnold has a better arm than the other two, Cousins has a better arm than Purdy, but my niece does too, so that's not saying that much. |
