The TBS feed went down for a bit during the game in Montreal and the Sportsnet feed was sssoooo much louder, it was amazing to hear. I'd love to go to a playoff game in Canada at some point.

It's the same cycle every postseason... game 1s of round 1 are "we're calling stuff this postseason!"... then they promptly go back to doing what they've always done and not call anything.

Then after multiple games where anything goes, things escalate to blatant elbows to the face and what not, and the refs have to overcorrect (see all the penalties in the 3rd).

It's seriously like they don't understand if you let this shit mount game after game with no penalties, this will be the result every... ****ing... series.

Yeah, it's one of those dumb games... Oettinger hasn't seen a ton of work, but several really good chances and the Avalanche had a lot of offensive zone time in the first.

Despite the flukey shit though, the Stars have tilted the ice since the end of the 2nd anyway though... sometimes the goalies are just good enough in a series that it's the dumb goals that go in.
