It’s called job security. Why would he want to go to a country with expectations? He tried that with the Leeds job and failed miserably. Could you imagine the relief he must have felt going from the premier league to a country that has never even earned a World Cup point in their entire existence?! It’s a job with literally nothing but upside and no expectations.

What expectations are there for the US job?

I would say round of 16 should be the goal and everything after that would be the cherry on top. We definitely have to make it out of the group, though. That’s way more expectations than Marsch has to deal with in Canada.

Marsch just won 2-1 against a Panama side that USA beat 2-0 a couple days ago, not sure the comparisons are merited yet. Marsch also played vs Mexico and tied 0-0 a month ago in a neutral stadium.

Marsch played Davies all 90 minutes against Panama too. LMAO I suppose until you get a group point at the World Cup you have to treat friendlies that way.

Sporting KC just posted a quote from Peter Vermes about trying to get better next season. Are these owners even paying attention? How in the **** is this man keeping his job? 15 years as a coach and he has the same amount of DUI’s as league cups. What a joke. I truly hope he dies in the offseason at this point. I think it’s the only way to free us from this bullshit.

Its soccer. No one really follows it or cares. We have a girls team and that has some people happy. If they make enough gate to pay players and the fans like going to games, (matches) then whooppie.

Peter Vermes has the boys off to another drunk start. 9 straight losses now. Couldn’t even field a team that can put a shot on goal playing up a man for 40 minutes. When is ownership gonna see this shit for the joke that it is. Vermes is gonna keep tinkering all season and teams will start overlooking us when we’re out of it when summer comes around so he can put together enough of a fake run to somehow save his job again. Rinse, wash, repeat. Free us from this drunk idiot in charge!!!

On the plus side, though, a $100 bet on San Jose last night netted $324 in winnings. Maybe ownership has the same plan to just profit off knowing how terrible our team is since it’s legal to bet in Kansas now. Just a heads up for you bettors out there. This team is gonna be the closest thing to a sure thing the books have to offer.
