Everybody is expensive. Honestly, in relation to the guys they're tasked with shutting down, CBs are arguably a value proposition in FA.

Outside of Jones and George our DL is pedestrian on it's best day. It got exposed in the Super Bowl in horrible fashion. We need another good DT next to Jones in the worst way with Wharton gone at least one edge defender. Teams that have good OT's like the Bills and Eagles have all day to survey the secondary.
Most of the draftniks I've seen post are all saying we can stay at 31 and get a reliable starting DT at 31, Get another DE project that should work out in the 2nd round.
