He is. I have to put some work into DBs. I also like the CB from Florida State, Azareye'h Thomas, a bunch. I'll get there :D

So....is Donovan Jackson a LT in the NFL?

No.

Side note - I don't know a single thing about Donovan Jackson. I just know that seemingly everyone that comes out of college these days is a right tackle or guard.

Playin' the odds here...

Man this is just not a good year to year a WR unless you’re picking in the top 20 and can get Egbuka, Burden or Golden. FA really sucks too which is why I think we need to keep Hollywood Brown.

Also not a great year to get a LT unfortunately.

It’s a damn good draft to get a DL, a corner, a TE and a RB. Also very underrated at S. I think we need to check those boxes.

Bech got Senior Bowl MVP. Man, I'd love to see that kid here but I have a feeling with the week he had he's going to shoot up boards in a soft WR class.

Today's adds:
WR Jordan Watkins, Ole Miss
CB O'Donnell Fortune, South Carolina
CB Jacob Parrish, Kansas State

If we don't grab a CB in the first four rounds I'd love it if the Chiefs grabbed a guy like Jermari Harris out of Iowa. Yeah he's older but these Iowa DBs come in ready to contribute and the Chiefs are the perfect fit for an older rookie as we are needing to win now. If you have a low round pick invested who care if he's a one contract player for you.

Savion Williams is one of my favorite fits for us. Goddamn is he fun. He’s like a bigger Rashee Rice that can also play in the backfield, do jet sweeps, run the wildcat or return kicks.

I want him on this team. Andy would ****ing love the kid

Couch-Potato 02-23-2025 08:07 PM

Crow, what are your thoughts on the CBs from KU?

Yeah he's really ****ing explosive. I'd like to find a way in Rd 3 to snag that kid. Most don't have him in their top-100... until he blows the doors off the combine.

I'm slowly circling around Benjamin Morrison, CD -- ND as a guy I think I'm going to be really high on if he's still there when our pick comes up.

He just might be. It's gonna be close -- him or Revel will still be there, IMO. This doesn't feel like a '5 CBs in the first round' sort of draft.

And if Morrison is there, he has a really nice combination of speed, size and aggression. He's not as strong as you'd like him to be; by no means is he Snead out there. But I think in time he will add functional strength.

He has the chops for the press-man stuff we like to do. He's a smart player so he shouldn't struggle with zones or matchup looks.

If one of the edge players I really like (Scourton seems to be my favorite on the possibilities list at the moment) isn't there, I could pretty easily pivot to Morrison and be content.

Super talented but there are medicals for him with the torn hip labrum surgery he had and he also had arthroscopic on his shoulder before the start of the season.

Yeah -- the medicals are worrisome for sure. They're also the only reason (IMO) he might still be there at the back of 1. I'm not convinced he isn't the most talented CB in this draft.

Yeah, that's partially because I still see Hunter as a bit gimmicky.

Hunter is pretty damn solid. Will Johnson from Michigan is a dog too though. I don't think Morrison has him beat.

For our system, Jahdae Barron is the top dog IMO.

Mentioned him as in my mock yesterday and DJ mentioned him today. Go ahead and add Trey Amos.

Really good corner. Big fan of his and love his fit here
