Really? Half the fun of sports is the emotional involvement. If you have some emotions involved, being nervous is part of the fun. No doubt many people get too emotionally involved and overreact to wins and losses but I would hate to be so emotionally disconnected from the result that I would have no nerves prior to a big game. Also, nervous isn't necessarily always bad. Nervous and excited share many of the same traits.

100% concur.
If I didn't get a little anxious/excited before a Chiefs game, I'd probably stop watching football entirely.
Actually I know I would, based on how I no longer watch the NBA, or the first half of the MLB season.
