I wonder if some of this is also a play to nudge hardman out. Really doubt the chiefs will sign him because someone will pay him way more than what he’s worth. It may be just as much a play for next year as it is this year. Toney has a dirt cheap contract for 2 more years.

You do realize the Chiefs still can make moves, yeah? You're not one and done at the trade deadline.

How does this impact the cap?

Nothing really because Moore is under contract for 3 more years after this one.

If it says anything, it says they're not sold on keeping Hardman around.

Well, MVS was nothing in GB and now he's doing well. JuJu didnt have great numbers last year and now he is doing well. Hardman has stepped up recently. We got two TD's out of Watson who is a Brady cast off. Moore is still learning a lot and probably in the dog house a little. Why did they trade him and why do we want him? Not sure but he does catch well and run well. Another bigger body for Mahomes and some depth. he may turn out to be a steal in December. I always hated our lack of size at WR but we have reversed that this year and it's awsome. Big Boddies matter in the red zone especially in the cold weather.

Yeah no kidding.

And so what if he IS being locker room cancery? It didn't seem to affect the goddamn Giants.

One in his short NFL career. But he returned several in college.

****ing nothing. Jesus Christ. Not everything has to be about Moore.

Exactly, if anything, this just makes me feel really good about having 2 young talented WRs on rookie deals.

LMAO Kind of forgot the Giants ate a bunch of the $$$. If he's productive that's actually reeruned value.

chiefzilla1501 10-27-2022 10:55 AM

At the very least I’d expect him to immediately be our punt returner. So he’ll contribute right away.
