The only two teams that I've seen linked to Smith is the Chiefs and Ravens.

The thing about Smith too is that he already came back from the injury and played, now he has the entire offseason off too.

The problem with back injuries is that they don't seem to ever truly go away.

That being said, I don't expect Smith to get much more than a 2-year deal, so it's probably not an issue.

That's fairly surprising. I didn't think he had much of a cap# and had been a solid, versatile OL for them.

Not sure what the market will bear for him, but he could be a guy who keeps a ceiling on Wylie a little bit.

He's definitely an upgrade over what we had

Well in all fairness.....that doesn't take much at this point.

And he already played for the Ravens once.

But can he do his job? Is he a mad man at setting the edge and sniffing out screens?

Because that's really what's important.

Whew, this squad is going to be different next year if the trends continue..

Potentially losing Darrel Williams, Pringle, Sorenson, Frank Clark, Mathieu, Ward, Hitchens, Demarcus Robinson. Anyone I'm missing? That is a metric **** ton of snaps.

From the minimal amount of Packers games that I watched the last couple of years....he at least looked like he was trying out there. Can't say the same for Frank Clark.

Was always going to be this way.

I think they had 26 pending UFAs. Many of them were the sort of depth guys you don't think about, but now they're starting to bubble to the surface.

This is why we can't go paying retail prices for 'name' players who are clearly past their primes.

The margin for error is pretty much gone. Get it right or we're going to struggle to hold off the Chargers for the West.

We badly needed this. Can't keep bringing back the same guys trying to replicate 2019.

You spelled Ward wrong.
