It's really going to suck having to draft 36th every year...

I think sn extra game and 4 more teams is dumb.

But greed always wins.

Personally I want to see federal legislation if cities or counties pay for stadiums they get the percentage of money for tickets sold. You pay 6 billion for a 7 billion stadium. You get ⁸³ percent or whatever it is of the ticket cost.

For new teams. Ir would probably be all European.

It would add a new level of strategy about who gets rested and when. It would probably add competition because the strong teams would likely rest their stars against the weakest teams.

The strategy would be really cool. You probably wouldn't want to rest players too early in the season, because ideally you'll hold their individual byes for if they get injured. But if you wait too late, you might end up having to rest players in critical games with playoff implications. And how many starters can you rest against a team like the Panthers or Patriots before you're taking an unacceptable risk of a loss?

You rest all your stars against a non conference team late and just take the loss.

Or you get a backdoor agreement to play your second string against their second string.

Then I’d be forced to watch meaningful Chiefs games without Mahomes at QB and I don’t like that at all

Just a matter of time then. I assume it's the same gentleman's agreement it had with the NBA over Christmas day games.

I think it would be more of a mix.

Not straight-up 1st team/2nd team. A rotation.

NBA already did. They went woke with Marks stupid ass and lost billions.

Everyone knows how late stage capitalism operates. Eternal growth. Like cancer.

We don’t have to like it, though.

You’re essentially adding two weeks to the season. I don’t see how the NFLPA would go for this without a 2nd bye week.

Oh they'll get that second bye, that extends the season so now you are at a 20 week regular season.

All they'll have to do is tell the players the cap is increasing x amount.

London is a HUGE city and between the Brits that like American football and American servicemen, and ex-pats, a team in London would draw plenty of interest.

The problem is the travel. I'm not sure they could make it work without at least an entire division in Europe. I think I read something a while back about the return of supersonic air service to Europe. That might make it workable, but still the travel to and from the west coast to Europe would be brutal.
