Superstar? I doubt it. Solid WR? There's hope for that.

Yes they are. And before them, it was Donnie Avery and Bowe

ROFL

I hope Veach can trade Conley to Cleveland for a 3rd. Coleman out, and uncertainty around Gordon. D-Rob will play his way into significant snaps if he can build chemistry with Mahomes.

Aren't they sniffing around Dez.

At best, you'll get a conditional 6th rounder for a guy like Conley.

Yep. 2015 was a weak schedule and we took advantage with a good record thus not allowing our o-line to be really exposed. 2016 and 17 much tougher schedules and it has exposed our lack of nasty talent along the o-line. Andy's chickens have come home to roost waiting on this o-line to develop and I assure he is very quietly disappointed and worried at this point.

Bottom line: There just isn't any nasty talent along this o-line,PERIOD

We need Richie Incognito to come out of retirement and play LG.

Amen. I said this a long time ago. You know it.

I'm seeing some posts in here which absolutely demonstrate why you have such low reputation.

Conley is Elvis Grbac and Robinson is Rich Gannon.

Trust your eyes.

Great comparison.

Conley has all the measurables but there's just something missing on the field.

Conley averaged 16 yards a catch last year and was money on 3rd downs.

Conley is big, fast, and he can jump.

Robinson gets open. He dropped too many easy passes and seems to make easy catches more complicated than the should be (by jumping or some other unnecessary wasted movement) but can make TOUGH catches very well.

He's a much more instinctive player but I'm not seeing superstar on him.

It's going to be hard for any WR to get that status cos I fully expect Tyreek to put up great numbers this year. Something like 85/1400/10

This is what I love about Chiefs Nation... Every year before preseason our fandom truly believes THIS is the year, and we constantly over value middling talent because we're such homers.
