Minus Avery, minus Charles, and with Indys d playing like mad men.

Just some minor details.

We get it. You hate alex smith.

Colts played that play perfect. How about a run call on 2nd down.

How about fall into the fetal position and take your chances on 3rd and 7 knowing you have two cracks at it?

Chiefs Pantalones 01-04-2014 08:10 PM

Stop trying to break this down guys. It's simple. We choked. Pure choke job. Injuries sucked of course but it is what it is...we blew it. The whole team blew it.

They got 10 points directly from the defense, idiot.

LOL @ people citing the Avery injury as some real detriment to the offense. you guys are ridiculous.

This is such a ridiculous stance. Smith played his best game as a Chief, probably the best game of his career. However, he still made mistakes that cost this team the game. Wanna blame the defense? Fine. It's not like that defense has been any good since week ten. The offense knew they had to overcome it, and they didn't. And that sits squarely on the QB's shoulders.

You may be the single dumbest person on the Planet. Not Chiefs Planet, Earth. Smith was the only reason the Chiefs were in the game.

Bunch of reeruned step children thinking Alex outplayed Luck, who brought his team back from a 38-10 deficit with 13 mins to go in the third.

Which team won the game, btw?

Colts? They must have won on the back of their RB...

ITS. ON. THE DEFENSE.

You snotnosed twentysomething... 44 points but the offense lagged here and there... SO ****ING WHAT.

I'm looking at you cdcox, you're a good man... but blaming this on the offense is straight up bullshit, 44 points! In the playoffs!... if you're blaming Smith, you're just being bullish and obtuse about your original thoughts.

I'm not satisfied with that QB. I'm not going to bash him; he had a great game. But situational play matters to me.

This, he is average but not good enough to get the job done.

Without Avery, Chiefs had no deep threat.

Smith threw for 65%, 378 yards, 4 TD and 0 INT. That's an outstanding game. He did his part and then some

Jd is a one who sucks the penis. lol

Alex Smith will not ever be Andrew Luck. But very few will. If that's what you want, you genuinely need to go become a Colts fan... because that's the only choice. There isn't another one of him coming down the pipeline. He is a robot pretty much built to play QB. Some of those throws he made today were all-universe. Rodgers is the only other guy who could do that.

Alex played his first good game as a Chief IMO, and playing great until that fumble inside the 25. The NFL isn't about Defense anymore it's about "fastbreak" football and you got to win those against the best QBs in the NFL.

And lets pretend like Avery wasn't getting crucified like he didn't deserve to be in the NFL just a few weeks ago.

Aside from Wayne, who has been out for weeks now, please tell me who the Colts lost on offense. I'd love to know.
