About next year.. yeah, yeah, yeah... this year's team was supposed to be better than last year's which went to the NC game. It's not like OSU is the only team that will get good recruits or return starters. You're going to lose Jenkins, Laurinaitis, Robiskie, Wells and others... that's not going to be easy to replace.

I'm not saying that Georgia isn't a good team, but they are nowhere near as good as the Florida and LSU teams that defeated OSU in back to back years. Those teams beat us handily. Georgia would be a close game. They may have been a top tier team at the begining of the year, but they have been bitten pretty hard by the injury bug. OSU has played much better with Pryor under center. Against Ohio we didn't have Beanie and I know it is still Ohio, but it was early on in the year and we didn't play our best. We did also play very poorly against Wisconsin, but this team is starting to come together and has played pretty well as of late. Georgia played like crap just on Saturday.

As far as next years class and losing all of the seniors, I'm not too worried about it. You don't know if Wells is going to go pro or not. Everyone thought Laurinatis and Jenkins would, but they came back. Robiskie won't be missed, I don't think he will amount to much in the NFL. Sure losing Laurinaitis and Jenkins will hurt, but we have great depth at LB (Keep an eye on Etienne Sabino and Dorian Bell), people wondered what we would do once Hawk and Carpenter left. We have 2 top 10 corners coming in next year, with talent already on the bench. All I'm saying is that Scout.com has us listed as having the 4th best class of 2008 and the best of 2009 thus far.

Just giving you a hard time, but seriously... I think OSU should be a few spots lower.... at least lower than tOSU (see what I did there), Mizzou, and Georgia.

ROFL

Damn an 8 team playoff would be perfect for college football. There would be some great games at the end of the season if they took those top 8 teams in the current rankings. How good would it be to see Alabama/Penn St, Florida/Oklahoma and Texas/USC games?

We'll get a TTU/OU and Alabama/Florida playoff.
