So last off season we hear what a great teammate JMac is because he has Conley and Wilson stay in his home and they workout together. Now he's a shitheel who makes everyone miserable?

Good find Puggs. I don't believe pizza boy Fescoe, but this was backed up by Mellinger:

Lot of rumors that Maclin wasn't happy that Hill was getting all the glory and his targets.

Makes sense. I knew when he got cut that there had to be more to the story then what we were being told.

Do you have evidence to the contrary?

There hasn't been exactly a rush for any team to sign him, either.

Ravens sign Maclin to a 2 year deal

jallmon 06-12-2017 03:17 PM

Glad jmac found a new home. Hope things work out well for him.

Now we can watch the Chiefs receivers develop.

Are we talking "rest of the NFL"-open or Smith-open?

There's a difference.

In any event, I am told that no one spreads the ball around more than Smith, so J-Mac must be making things up.

All the Chiefs need to do is grab a couple more dudes with elite speed and sure hands, and we'll see Smith in that Super Bowl yet!

Cause' you know, guys like Hill grow on trees.

Bob Fescoe says he got this info from people within the organization. Claims that these people said Maclin was cut primarily for being 'malcontent'.

Makes sense. Thanks for sharing

Translation: Maclin was a pussy who couldn't stay healthy/ play through injuries then had to earn his job back when Tyreek started to excel at his position.

R8RFAN 06-13-2017 04:42 PM

Did he say he always wanted to be a Raven?

pugsnotdrugs19 06-13-2017 06:57 PM

"#Chiefs felt Maclin had lost something after injury-plagued 2016. But he's still 29 and goes to team with track record of maximizing vets." - @TomPelissero

I don't think anyone ever says that.

or they found out that they needed more room under the cap than they thought, used Maclin to get that space, fired the guy in charge of working the cap and now they're trying to save face by leaking bad info.

Or, you're a dipshit that can somehow justify $12.5 million for 436 yards and 2 TD's in 2016 for a guy that completely shit the bed in the 2015 playoffs, then wouldn't come off the field when directed to do so in 2016 playoffs.
