Expect a kicker, punter and longsnapper.

Chase Coffman is pretty much an unknown for the Bengals. There was some disappointment in his rookie season, and the value here is too good to pass up with a very athletic TE on the board. He will need work on his blocking coming from the spread, but there is some upside here and will at least give the Bengals another option at TE. The Bengals select Ed Dickson, TE, Oregon.

I'm honestly stunned that this guy is available. When I picked Blount for the Pats, I was a little bit reticent, because I thought this guy could help, but he wouldn't make the immediate impact that the Pats need. However, this player is great value in a position of need for a rebuilding team. He was considered a 2nd round/fringe 1st at the beginning of the year, but missed almost all of the season due to a wrist injury.

When on the field, he's been an excellent playmaker. He had over 100 tackles his sophomore year along with 18 deflections and 5 picks. Those are simply astounding numbers. He has a little bit of a thin frame, but I think that this guy could easily blossom into a very good #2 corner who can also defend slot receivers.

The St. Louis Rams select Walter Thurmond III, CB, Oregon

****.

That all but guarantees a reach by KC with their next pick.

Decent value available at RT.

This guy really became a good player and I enjoyed watching him the last few years. A former linebacker converted to safety this guy still has some upside and could be a starter someday. The Browns select Larry Asante from the greatest college football program of all time.

Archie Bunker 03-24-2010 10:07 PM

The Bucs could use a DE and if he can stay healthy I think this guy turn out to be a pretty solid 4-3 end. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Greg Hardy, DE, Mississippi

For the Redskins I'll take Selvish Capers, good project pick, very athletic has the skill set to play in the scheme.

The Chiefs REALLY wanted Thurmond to man their nickle spot, but he was swiped just ahead of them.

This puts them in a bit of a pickle - continue drafting for value at a position of depth, or reach a half-round or so to take a guy they really like that can at minimum compete for a starting job, and in my opinion win it.

**** it. This guy is a ****ing beast. 6-5, 320 pounds of mean, nasty, powerful lineman that can play either guard position, but we feel he's best suited to play RT for KC and can take the job from Ryan O'Callaghan from day one. His experience is a huge plus, with 26 consecutive starts in the SEC.

The Chiefs select: Chris Scott, OT/OG, Tennessee

Damn fine pick for the Chiefs.

OnTheWarpath15 03-25-2010 09:23 AM

Let's get through the next 8 picks by 6:00pm so I can head out of town without having to PM someone a list of players...

The Franchise 03-25-2010 09:23 AM

Exactly......let's ****ing do this.

Titty Meat 03-25-2010 11:00 AM

Not sure where this guy fits in a 3-4 but the Browns will play some 4-3 this year too. He wasn't that good last year but the year before looked like a 1st round pick. He's probably a 3rd or 4th round pick so i'm going for value here. The Browns select George Selvie Defensive End Soth Florida.

KCrockaholic 03-25-2010 12:16 PM

The George Selvie pick is a steal! The Chiefs need to consider this guy in the early 5th.

The Franchise 03-25-2010 12:17 PM

I've got Flopnut's pick if SNR makes his pick in the next couple of hours.
