I bet there is some love for Reid in this group.

These guys want to see him win a SB.

Kevin Green is intriguing as a DC, but I doubt he'd leave Pitt.

Sean Salisbury was on with St. John earlier today on 810, and he said that he'd leave his current job immediately to be Reid's QB coach. Said that, should Reid call, he'd be on the plane so quickly that he wouldn't even bother to pack.

Monte Kiffin would be a horrible hire.

I hate, hate, hate bend-but-don't-break defenses.

Kevin Greene is the rush backer coach in Green Bay.

Ray Horton would be an ideal fit and is someone that was rumored to be on the DC list for this HC.

Dick Lebeau - but he's not leaving Pitt.

KC Hawks 01-04-2013 04:38 PM

I think he means Keith Butler.

O.city 01-04-2013 04:38 PM

No, someone else was mentioned? Maybe it was Greene and I just assumed he was still in pitt? Oh well.

TBG, didn't you say you had heard something about Horton?

It's going to be nice to get excited about a season again.

I'm told Jerry Richardson has yet to decide if Ron Rivera returns. They meet Saturday. Richardson, not the new GM, will make the call.

I really questioned a lot of this shit too.

This is what happens when you build relationships and aren't a ****ing dickbag like Pioli.

Mother****erJones 01-04-2013 05:05 PM

New head coach Andy Reid will bring the West Coast offense to Kansas City.
Reid's brand of the West Coast was famously pass-heavy in Philadelphia. Critics complained that LeSean McCoy -- and Brian Westbrook before him -- were underutilized on run plays, but they were always heavily involved in the pass game, helping them to compensate in terms of total yardage. Jamaal Charles is an adept receiver, and Reid's addition will improve his PPR outlook for 2013.

Reid has a history of developing players and doing a great job coaching them. There is a lot of upside to being the new Chiefs coach. There are plenty of good players coming back and we have a great chance to improve our team through the draft.

He saw how empty (and blackout) Arrowhead could look, Heard our displeasure, and I think it reached him like "my dad built this through all those years and as soon as I take over it goes to shit" And once again he did the fans right by getting the best out there. Clark did us proud. Billionaire fail is a lot of pressure.

That's how I envision it as well. You know he had to be a huge fan growing up and I don't care if you're a billionaire or you shovel shit for a living, any man wants to make his father proud. He watched his father's dream die before his eyes this year and now he's fixing that shit!

I still have a beef about Clark not speaking out about the performance of the team until after the season. But, I'll let that go.

We really can't complain no matter how it turns out. Clark publicly neutered Pioli and then fired the guy. How cool was that?

He went all out to get one, if not the best available Head Coach on the market. How it all works out in the long run is going to be on Andy Reid.
