don't think the arm will fall off, favre's never did i see him having some gannon years though |
I still maintain that Mahomes' best attribute is his brain. Followed by his vision. He'll age well and his ability to find open receivers is a cumulative process because he remembers everything. When he's old and immobile I could easily see him transition to an older Peyton or Brady.
I would be worried if I was a Ravens or Bills fan though. |
Low risk high reward pick up that's cost controlled for up to potentially 3 years. Sounds like another dub for Veach. I mean if this kid actually pans out he has the potential to be similar to Diggs, injuries and maturity are about the only things holding him back.

I know it's Friday night and we're all drinking mostly but I have to say I'm extremely intrigued from this film and things Seth Keysor is digging up.
He has a wow factor that I didn't know and assumed he was a bust. But there are a ton of stories about receivers that started slow and boomed. He's nothing like Antonio Brown but just from a first couple years in the league standpoint I don't see why he can't blossom like Brown did. You know, before he went unironically crazy. I guess what I'm trying to say is he has a ceiling that none of our other guys have and if he just works into the rotation I think he could possibly put up some big games. These open field moves remind me of Deebo Samuel to be honest. |
Just FTR I'm loving this move sober or not.

Andy is missing the "Tyreek effect" on defenses. To me Toney is a poor man's version of Hill that can still effect defenses IF he can stay on the field.

If Toney reaches his potential in this offense and locker room...a complete steal. |
It's already stealing, in my book. We got a receiver with elite level speed, quickness, RAC-ability, hands (not 100% on this as his catchrate is only 68%), absolutely filthy route-running ability, and football IQ for what amounts to a 4th-rd and 7th-rd pick. If he busts for any reason, well it was just a 90-something pick and whatever 7th rd pick.
But if he produces anything like his highlight reels this season and/or in the playoffs, that's a win right there. If he continues to thrive in KC next season and beyond, then we'll have straight up fleeced NYG. |
play #2 is a jet flip and it's the sickest shit ever

He's going to finish the year with 420 yards receiving - LOL can you imagine?
IMO it's probably going to turn out to be true. |
Andy fiddin' to believe in this kid - dude going to belief!! Got me beliefing!

Unfortunately, while watching those highlight reels I've figured out why he keeps getting injured, and I'm not sure it can be fixed. In short, he takes unnecessary hits. In many cases he invites contact instead of just stepping out of bounds or going down. He's not big enough to absorb all that punishment. Somehow the coaches gotta get him to save a lot of that for the playoffs. But I don't think he'll give that part of his game up. I'm seeing an extremely competitive football player. You'd have to be to fight for yards the way this kid does. I don't think we have to worry about him being indifferent once he's on the field. This guy wants to win. |
