On Offense just need to run the ball and not ask Alex to do too much.

Alex barely throws for 200 yards a game along with 1 TD - how much less can we ask of him?

That's who I compared him to..A faster Steve Smith...Much Faster..

Hill reminds me more of Barry Sanders. I am sure Barry was told he was too short or too small to play football a thousand times. When he got on the field, Sanders made them pay.

At this point, Hill does not have the escapability that Sanders showed almost weekly, but the speed, the way he uses spin moves and head fakes (watch the second play on this highlight vid-he uses both) to gain extra yards is very close to Sanders. Hill seems to be able to break tackles a little better, but with only a year of highlights, it is still too early to put a definitive comparison on any past player. It is good to see Hill put his past problems behind him and Prove it on the field. I think he is going to create huge matchup problems for the defense on the way to another big year.

The Real Reason Maclin was Released

Bob Fescoe says he got this info from people within the organization. Claims that these people said Maclin was cut primarily for being 'malcontent'.

Good find Puggs. I don't believe pizza boy Fescoe, but this was backed up by Mellinger:

There is a case to be made that Maclin is no longer worth the contract he signed with the Chiefs. He effectively missed five games because of injury last season, and when he played struggled to get separation on defenders and was at times demonstrably ticked off when not thrown the ball.

Lot of rumors that Maclin wasn't happy that Hill was getting all the glory and his targets.

Unless Dorsey, Maclin and or Reid speak directly to the issue, all we'll hear is rumors and speculation.

I'd be massively pissed off as well working so hard to get open and golden boy pussy ain't man enough to throw you the ball and do a check down instead.

You'd have to be an idiot not to be fed up with this teams offense.

It's extremely inconsistent.

No, I've been reading folks gobble up hearsay and innuendo and accept it as gospel for at least a couple years now.
