I can totally see why an MU fan would want to stretch it out. After all you are one of like 10 BCS schools without a final four or BCS appearance. At least you have girls volleyball.

I turned on the show and whoever brought up the quality of the audio made a great point. It's hard to tell what he actually said because the audio is so bad. At the same time, it also seems telling that KSHB has not released the audio/video of the segment with much better quality that could easily clear Jack's name.

And yet when realignment was going on no one came knocking on KUs door. Amazing. Enjoy being in a league that is slowly becoming more like the old Big East and less like the SEC (at least in football which is the only sport that really matters).

I've only watched the few seconds of the YouTube clip. Is he denying he said it??

I couldn't care less, but I wouldn't be surprised if it bunched enough panties he'll get slashed or have to publicly apologize for the comment. I've always just figured him to be their mild version of a "shock jock" and expected him to say stupid shit from time to time. I did have to laugh at him actually using the term Gayhawk on live TV though. LMAO

I think that is teams that have won BCS games and National Basketball Championships, not just Final Fours.
