Tonight at my neighborhood pool I saw a nice SUV with Chiefs license plate and MU badge, "JMAC19".

Anyone from here?

Even in that 2015 was Maclin even that great? Barely Scrapped 1000 yards in 15 starts, 2 of his bigger games in terms of yards were basically in garbage time vs Cincinnati and Green Bay.

Apart from that only a couple of decent games. I guess some people will blame Smith for that.

I think when Maclin came to KC, most knew he was a marginal WR1, and had to be overpaid to get pulled in.

A marginal WR1 was desperately needed at the time, so not much in the way of complaints. The bottom line is, he wasn't likely to play well enough again to earn that 13+ mil cap hit. The downside is, if other WRs at the top get injured, the Chiefs will likely not even be a playoff team this season.

Maclin is a good WR but nobody is game planning because he must be accounted for.

Champions are not one man shows in the passing game. That's why Hill is going to be so valuable going forward. Makes it harder to stop Kelce and I have big hopes for Conely being able to live up to his talent like Robinson. I think we will be fine I Alex can not get worse like he did last season.

In that case go ahead and put him in the HOF now, because I'm pretty damn successful.

Successful at being a troll maybe. Your success rate is abysmal when it comes to identifying and predicting NFL talent.

Chiefs just need to get back to the basic formula of stopping the Run and allowing the (Hopefully improved) pass rush and Secondary to do the rest.

On Offense just need to run the ball and not ask Alex to do too much.

When Maclin went over 1,000 yards receiving (even if just barely) in 2015 he became the only WR in Alex Smith's career as a starting QB (both in SF and in KC) who recorded an 1,000 yard receiving season.

A "barely" 1,000 yard receiving season with Bubble Screen Alex Smith as your QB is the equivalent of a 2,000 yard receiving season with a normal QB who throws the ball more than 2 yards downfield on a consistent basis.
