Hey Pat, since you're a stickler for the rules you are more than aware that if a previously permabanned user is found to be back, the mod team at any time for any reason can nuke the account. That's been clear in the rules since the good old days. That right there is plenty. Now, back to what I've been doing the rest of the day. Reading, and not posting in this thread.

Ok, question:
If someone is "permabanned," why, if that person is found to be back, is the person not immediately nuked instead of what appears to be 'nuked at the discretion of the mod team?'

Just wondering.

Historically, it was because the person had managed to fly under the radar with a new account and get along just fine prior to being "outed".

Because middle aged dudes with goatees feel more powerful if they can just drop the hammer whenever they want to pull rank.

;) You know I like ya, Setsuna... If I didn't, I wouldn't have tried to roast ya. I'm glad you didn't take it to heart, because I wasn't intending to make you genuinely upset or anything.

You did make good on that, eh? Awesome, way to go, dude.
