His biggest contribution was blocking in the run game. He was exceptional at that. They've just recently started expanding his route tree and he was producing there as well.

You'd know this, if you followed anything other than the Chiefs.

You should be kind of embarrassed. There were a couple others here who noted All, who i'm sure you don't consider to be as astute as you in the foozeball knowledge.

You can find a blocking TE for 20 YPG on the street right now ROFL you...do...realize...that....right?

It would be like Chiefs fans crying about losing Fortson.

My advanced metrics rate it as a .0000001 loss to any game's win %

Every time you open your mouth, you lose credibility.

TomBarndtsTwin 11-04-2024 02:21 PM

It's entirely possible, with the Bengals likely having missed their window in 2021-22 that Burrow ends up being remembered as Ken Anderson Part 2, when it's all said and done.

One of the better QB's of his time (late 70's, early 80's), won an MVP, led his team to a Super Bowl, had 3-4 really nice years. And that was about it.

Hopefully Bengals fans are good with that.

1st round talent, UDFA head.

CupidStunt 11-05-2024 10:42 AM

Most likely 4-6 very soon.

Or perhaps the overrated Ravens will lose yet again and be the best 6-4 team ever. Currently the best 6-3 team EVER I heard.

Either way, two teams that value running up the score when it doesn't matter vs actually showing up when it does matter.

No, they are the best team of all time. No need for any qualifiers, because they are the best to ever do it. Also, they have the best QB of all time. They'd destroy the Chiefs if they got a chance to do it!!!!! You just have to ignore the first week of of the season when they lost to us, the 2nd week of the season when they lost to the Faid, and week 8 where they lost to the Browns. Ignore those loses and just remembered they'd whoop the Chiefs if they played them!

I feel more confident against the Ravens than I do the Bengals. We just seem to have Baltimore's number (not that they can't win, I just feel better playing them than Cinci). We always seem to have a way to contain Lamar and force him to make a big play when needed. He's yet to do it. Plus, I can't stand Joe Burrow. Smug, arrogant, no real personality. Hell, he has to wear fur coats and frost his tips to trick people into thinking he has a personality. I think he'd be a 2nd tier QB without Higgins and Chase pushing off on every possession.

So, go Ravens, I guess.

Yeah, I’m thinking this is the best deal. Bury the Bengals and hope they miss the playoffs.

The Ravens are going to make the playoffs if Lamar is healthy. That much is obvious. He has a very high chance of getting hurt before January though.

Most hilarious scenario would be neither winning the division. The Steelers take it and only one of either the Ravens or Bengals get a Wild Card.

A Bengals win probably buries the Ravens for the 1 seed, but I don't think they're much of a threat for that anymore anyways.

The chances of Baltimore getting the 1 seed are pretty slim right now. KC has essentially a 4 game lead on them with 9 games left. They would have to win out while KC goes 5-4. At this point Buffalo has a much better chance at the 1 seed than Baltimore.

You’re right but I don’t think the Ravens are a legitimate threat to take the 1 seed from us anyway.

And on top of that, a Bengals win kind of positions both teams to go on a run and make the playoffs.

I’d rather at least one of them not even make it. That would be cool.

BURROWHEAD: Bengals talking a lot of sh1ttttt

They can easily get in with two more losses. In a lot of ways they still control their own destiny based on who they play. The next two the Chargers and Steelers are huge and then the following three are pretty easy. So I think they go 4-1 in their next five games. That puts them at 8-7 with a home against the Broncos and at the Steelers to finish out the season. Win just one of those and I’m guessing it shakes out they are in, probably knocking out the Broncos. I wouldn’t love them coming to Arrowhead in round two but that would be a distinct possibility as I think them against the Bills is a coin flip game.

Agree with all of this. They'll make the playoffs, that offense is too potent even if it is one dimensional. Their defense is s**t but I'm not keen to run into them again.

Their chances of making the playoffs are slim. They haven’t beaten a decent team. I would find it pretty funny if they missed the playoffs again with the great burrow and chase. No they won't. 4 of 7 on the road. Still gotta play the Steelers twice. Chargers on the road they'll be underdogs. No way in hell they go 6-1 with that defense, and 9-8 is not making it with the amount of tiebreakers they won't have.

Every game is still critical. The schedulers have done us no favors at the end of the season. We have a stretch in December where we play three games in ten days; two on the road, and two against playoff caliber AFC teams. I especially like the one at Pittsburgh on FOUR DAYS rest. Merry ****ing Christmas, everybody.

Yeah, the NFL is definitely rigging the season for us. :whackit:

They had the Ravens in a Skyline Colonoscopy Prep Scenario last night until Lamar put his cape on. As long as Burrow & Chase remain healthy they are in every game. After the mongoloid Hendricksen and CTB, that defense blew chunks.

A lot can happen until the playoffs... it was a damn good game to watch the only competition Chiefs have until the SB.

Agree. Defense is not near good enough to make any real noise in the playoffs.

If (Big IF) Cincy somehow finds their way into the 7 seed, then yeah I could see them maybe stealing a WC win against Bills or Ravens in another shootout game. But not nearly solid enough to go too far. It would have to be a pretty big transformation/improvement from the defense the rest of this year.

They still have a shot at maybe making it, as the mid teams just above them in the AFC aren't that good either.

Bolts
Donks
Colts

Cincy still gets to play the Bolts and Donks this year . Those are obviously must win games.
Colts upcoming schedule is brutal.

No margin for error and need some help.
Must win for Cincy next week vs the Bolts.
Must win for Cincy against the Donks (and hope the Chiefs beat the Donks 2x).
Must win AT LEAST 1 game vs the Squealers minimum.

Need some help by Colts falling off and the Chiefs taking care of business against the Bolts and Donks.

Still a shot, but it's a very very tough one.

It's kind of weird... We wouldn't have Uche, Hopkins or Hunt if we were healthy. That would be Ok but Veach has done a nice job.
