I picked up two CDs today:

Johnny Cash Live in Austin, Texas (Austin City Limits)
You Don't Know Me: The Songs of Cindy Walker (Willie Nelson)

I'm glad I picked up the Cash CD. The reviews were promising. I'll listen to the Nelson CD soon.

Cntrygal 01-28-2007 07:21 PM

I just drove for HOURS today.

In one of the songs Cash is talking about this guy who thought heaven was a whore in Dallas :) It's a good live performance.

Priest4Prez 01-28-2007 07:32 PM

my first post on this thread. I met Chirs Horn's twinlike brother today

Simplex3 01-28-2007 07:36 PM

I wish I'd been driving all day. Instead it was my kids that were driving (me nuts).

Simply Red 01-28-2007 07:38 PM

Watching Grandmamma's Boy it's actually kinda funny.

Sam Hall 01-28-2007 07:42 PM

Here's a song from the Nelson CD called Bubbles In My Beer

Tonight in a barroom, I'm sitting apart
From the laughter and cheer
The scenes of my life past before me
While watching the bubbles in my beer.

A vision of someone who loved me
Brings along silent tear to my eye
I know that my life's been a failure
Just watching the bubbles in my beer.

I'm seeing the road that I've travelled
A road paved with heartaches and tears
I'm seeing the past that I've wasted
While watching the bubbles in my beer.

I think of the heart that I've broken
And the golden chances that have passed me by
The dreams I've once made now are over
As empty as the bubbles in my beer...

I've been out of school for quite awhile - that might not be a good idea if you need to maintain a good gpa.

I can't exactly just "call in" - but I am going to burn a couple weeks of leave over the course of the next few months. I think I'll try and get some extra ski trips in...

The cop should have given you a comendation for sticking that close to the speed limit while driving in Texas.

Kansas drivers are bad. Texans are 10X worse than Kansans.

It's easy to bring up a pic.

1) Click the "Manage Attachments" link when you reply

2) Click the "Browse" link in that box

3) Click the pic you want, then click "Add This File"

4) Click "All Done", then reply.
