Guaranteed to get back more for him? No, but it's all but guaranteed you'd have more bidders for him, which would potentially drive the price up. That and you get 1 more year of a HOF player in his prime.

I just poured myself 3 fingers of Jameson Black Barrel. I feel better about things already :)

If Reek wanted $30MM a year there wasn't a world that exist he was going to get it in KC. Not with Mahomes contract and if you want ANY other players of quality down the road.

It is what it is Hill took the money over the team. This isn't the Chiefs fault.

Can you blame him? KC was NEVER going to come CLOSE to that.

May as well wait until Miami realizes that they're still a dumpster fire organization with no QB and flips him back to us for one of their 4th rounders.

Bullshit. This team could absolutely still make the playoffs even with Hill sitting out half the season.

Just to clarify the contract thing, Spotrac has been updated and has it listed as:

Quote:

Tyreek Hill signed a 4 year, $120,000,000 contract with the Miami Dolphins, including $72,200,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $30,000,000.

...

Contract Notes:
*$52.535M guaranteed at signing
*Another $19.6M fully guarantees March 2023

THIS ISN’T ABOUT 1 YEAR

They are trying to build something that can last, not go all-in while everybody else is.

Thats not how I read it.

It's poorly written.

The contract includes $72.2M in total guarantees.

There is $52M and change guaranteed at signing and the remainder to total $72.2M is guaranteed in 2023.

He signed a $120M contract. He can't be guaranteed more than the contract is worth.

There’s no guarantee of that at all. Do you think Veach just took the first two calls and sent everyone else to voicemail?

Hammock Parties 03-23-2022 03:42 PM

he gonna be back to win another ring at 32 boys

Also, King is again putting his lacking critical thinking skills on display.

Yeah, no shit, but you probably easily get that paltry offer from a desperate team next off-season AND 1 more year of Hill.

They’ll make the playoffs without Hill….but we suck now without Hill. Makes sense.

Of course he did. Veach is a moron. He's no John Dorsey.

When did I ever say they suck without Hill?

You get less because he’s one year older and not on the last year of his contract.
