I think it's 1 rep point per month and year of registration..1 rep point per 100 posts..1 rep point per thousand posts and so on..whoever has been here longer and has more posts has a bigger hammer..as coffey found out with GoChiefs.

So, the reason that rep tops out at 32,767 is because the vBulletin software that runs the planet uses a signed SMALLINT field in the MySQL database to store the user's rep. Those fields are 2-byte integers, meaning that the maximum value that can be stored is 65535. Because a signed integer field supports negative values, that means that maximum value must be split basically in half. So, the real range of rep (sparing you the math) is:

-32,768 to 32,767

We just started using the rep system here ,the settings still have to be tinkered with...good ole ecurb is a rep whore. :rolleyes:
