I would have called in sick that day LMAO |
Per Verderame reports:
-Talked to Chiefs source. They said if Wanya gets hurt again Thuney is the emergency LT and Caliendo comes in at LG. Donovan Smith would be a heavy bet to get a call from Veach depending on Wanya injury. They don’t want to put Kingsley o it there again. He’s prettt much getting redshirted from now on which is the right move. Also said he thinks Kingsley would be a better G, which honestly I guess I could see but more-so with Wanya. Thinks LT is the number one need in the offseason. Guess I have that flipped bc I think Wanya is a great G candidate and can be an effective starter there day 1 if we lose Thuney or Trey. |

Gotta roll forward though. I dunno what they do at LT> |
I still can't figure out why they haven't called Smith already. It seems like with Wanya, it's not a question of if but when he gets he hurt.
|
Can Jedrick Wills play at all?
|
If the Ravens let him walk, Ronnie Stanley wouldn't be a bad idea.

So it sounds like Donovan would only be signed if Wanya was a long term injury. |

Maybe after a couple years of stable guard play?
But yeah, big time whiff maybe next we draft tackles based on their performance on the field and not so much that they went to BYU |
Eric Fisher was brutally bad his rookie year. Per wiki:

But he was the 63rd pick. He was well known as a project. They made a big mistake giving him the job in camp. |
