I’m still going to wait and see on him.

We’re talking about one of the oldest franchises in NFL history that still hasn’t had a 4,000 yard passer. In the year 2024. That level of ineptitude permeates DEEP.

He’s losing support among his team mates.. a shit show.

You have to be out of your mind to go to the coach and seriously ask them to switch from the rookie QB who was picked first overall, in a season where it won't remotely matter because the playoffs are already off the table.

I get that it points to Caleb not doing well, not being liked, etc. But come on, If I'm the coach I would laugh somebody out of the room if they brought me that nonsense.

Couldn't agree more.

I said early on the most shocking offseason news this past offseason was that Eberflus was NOT fired.

Agreed. Those players should be benched for treason.

I just listened to a podcast where it sounds like the bears keep hanging on to eberflus because the owner is too cheap to buy him out.

And it sounds like the new oc was the guy who developed......... Bryce young

Holy shit what a mess

RIP Caleb's career

Shiver Me Timbers 11-14-2024 12:38 PM

I watched him occasionally while he was in college. He held the ball way too long trying to figure where to throw the ball because he cannot read defenses. He is doing that as a Pro. It goes to his intelligence or lack there of. To top that off he is an arrogant prick.
I laughed when the Bears drafted him over Daniels.

I flip around to different NFL games on Sunday. I swear every time I turn on a Bears game that kid is on his back. Either getting sacked or right after he throws a incomplete pass.

I believe it. Like I said, that level of ineptitude has to run bone deep.

Also, on a side note, why are coaching contracts fully guaranteed? Seems like a massive bungle by the owners.

He didn't and it was never even an option for him to.
