It is, because it's annoying as **** in the GDT and maybe this will get some of the overtop early hyperbole to stop. And it’s not like I even think we’re doomed at all. I’ll be at the playoff games wherever they are because I kinda like going into the playoffs with this sort of vibe and these expectations because it’s new and wins will be that much sweeter.

But bitching like this in the GDT a year ago and doing the same thing now aren’t equivalent in my eyes. And I feel like everything is being judged as such and that just seems silly.

We very well could have a first round exit, however, to wish not to have the opportunity is weird for a fan of this team, with this QB and HC and this defense.

I don’t know. But I agree with you.

I’ve been out of game day threads - in real time - for a good while. Because of the usual negative suspects. So, I’m not even sure if that poster is included. This team has won 12, 12, 14, 12, and 14 since Mahomes became the starter. I just can’t fine fault in that kind of performance.

And I agree with what you're saying, they're barely a playoff team this year and haven't fixed all the things we've talked about all year... and we make those assumptions that it'll be okay, many things are fixable, Mahomes will rise above it all, etc.... and then it's that much more frustrating when it doesn't happen, since we go throug the same cycles every damn year and they have always figured it out.

And then that's not enough, they're going to not just lose to the Bengals, but lose to the Chargers and miss the playoffs... well, and we WANT to lose out. Well, that's not enough either, the great defense is a bunch of frauds, Mahomes sucks, Kelce is done... Veach should resign and be ashamed of himself, the Chiefs should rename the franchise to the Kansas City Frauds and sell the naming rights to the stadium to SEON so we can call the stadium "The Fraud", and then make a giant slingshot so we can launch the Earth into the Sun so we don't have to spend one second more watching this team.

And then we come into this thread and point out someone who said they're going to lose in the first quarter of the game. :shrug:

Everyone is different in how they handle pressure in GDTs. Some just hold off and go on to the next play others release the pressure and type their anger without thinking it through. Probably we are all guilty of this at some point and blow a gasket. Patrick got beat up pretty badly in the last couple of years with poor tackle play. That takes a toll and I see it in his play this year especially with trust when Davis went down. I have seen some weird things from him like stepping directly into a collapsing pocket and getting stripped of the ball. I forget the game but Pat left the pocket and scrambled to the left and did a complete 360 viewing of who was behind then completed the pass downfield. That's a nervous QB to do that but it's what happens, you start feeling pressure that might not be there. I blame OBjr for this.

I've been watching you guys do this for years now.

Isn't this place a place to vent?

In an arena where we talk about ****ing eachother's moms, you guys are emotionally invested in the wrong stuff.
