From what I've seen, he looks good, but he has absolutely no room to run. Pretty easy for defenses to key in on him when the quarterback is Luke Falk or a haunted Sam Darnold.

He'd thrive in KC.

I wanted bell in the off season and our RB group is worse than expected. We get the ball back up 1 with 6 minutes left, Bell would be amazing to have.

Empty sets would be a ****ing nightmare. Not guardable.

Absolutely unstoppable.

I really shouldn't get my hopes up, but........

I can't wait for 3 pm to get here and the Chiefs to have made exactly 0 trades

The Franchise 10-29-2019 10:36 AM

Can we send them Watkins now?

Yes I realize the dead cap that would ****ing suck.

$8 million that they'll still need to pay for the MASSIVE raises due to Clark and Mathieu. Not to mention Hill and Hitchens (and say g'night to your Mahomes extension at that point). Even Okafor is sporting a $7 million cap figure next season.

This is the exact kind of thinking that led to Watkins to begin with. We can't just keep paying for this shit on credit.

No, Bell is not feasible at that figure. Even without Watkins, we cannot afford Bell at that number.

Oh you don't !@#$ing say.

Phones aren't ringing off the hook for the right to give the dude $13.5 million next season?

Gimme a 2nd with him and we'll talk.

Anyone that is genuinely serious about taking on Bell next season without getting substantial compensation in return simply isn't paying attention to the cap situation we're gonna find ourselves in. And no, the foregone conclusion of cutting Sammy Watkins does nothing to alleviate that.

In reality this team is going to honestly have to go into a mini rebuild pretty soon.

Our cap next year isn't a problem. We can structure Pat's contract to be very low. Cut watkins and you are good. Maybe they plan on trading Jones.
