I'd like an upgrade to Smith as much as anyone, but I doubt Foles is the answer. Had one good season because he was in the first year of a Chip Kelly offense NFL defenses hadn't seen. Then the league figured out how to defend it and neither guy has been shit since. Definitely like him as a spot duty backup, but I don't expect much of him as long term starter.

Now that foles is starting and jc, ware, probably maclin, and at least one starter on the o line is pitt and he says no one should make excuses for foles. Hypocrite |

Tigerbob responded with "yeah let's ban the voice of reason" Sounds like he slipped up and admitted it... |

Have we been winning? Yeah, but sometimes it just doesn't feel like it. I want to win differently....more convincingly evidently. |

- if Alex were starting against the Jags.. with these same injuries to players around him.. and anyone said he struggled due to those people being injured and MIA.. you.. and many others.. would call that "excuse-making." - so now that Foles is starting, you will then use all of these MIA injuries.. to excuse Foles. My take is, these injured, MIA players.. are all valid reasons for why either QB would struggle. Your take (and others) will then be.. these are only valid reasons for Foles.. not for Smith.. but for Foles. Were you able to follow this? If so.. this does not make me a hypocrite at all. If this is how it plays out, this will only make you.. and those that fit the aforementioned.. the hypocrite. I'm not being a dick. Just being serious and civil. Do you now understand what is being stated to you? |
Can Foles execute a successful slant and/or crossing route?
I know those big, scary linemen and LB's can be difficult to navigate, but there's this thing called..."timing". It's pretty cool! This week, "Sunday" shall henceforth be proclaimed "Funday". Thank you. |

Julio Jones is simply a complete freak and the best receiver in the NFL. it's not even close. He's averaging 19 ypc so far in 2016 with nearly 100 yards already. That's nuts. The Chiefs have absolutely nobody equal to that in terms of a reliable deep threat. Now, they do have a good compliment of receivers that fit the system and guys like Conley and Hill are coming on much better than we were seeing just a year previously), but there ain't nobody in Jones's league on this team. |

So **** yourself. The only excuse maker in this discussion is you. I mean Hell you bitch about o linemen who graded out better than Smith and blame them for his failures. You're a loser and a hypocrite |

Reaching for the stars is a great dream.. but most will settle for scrapping out enough wins, while hoping their team can turn it up a notch or two once the postseasons come. NE might be the ONLY team among the 32 that fits your ideal situation.. and even they have had one loss (one less than us), and two other games that they won by one score or less. Was there some other team of the 32 that better fits your criteria? |

Maclin is playing Sunday. Ware and Smith absolutely need to sit at the very least this week. Ware is the most important player on offense. We need him healthy to have any realistic shot at going deep in the playoffs.
