There aren’t many QBs I’d even make that trade for. MAYBE 5.

O.city 03-28-2018 08:39 AM

So Odell has had multiple meltdowns and shouldn't be traded for, but the Peters trade was the dumbest shit the CHiefs have ever done?

O.city 03-28-2018 08:39 AM

Sauto and I were texting about that potential trade offer this morning.

If someone offered that for Mahomes, I'd do it. That's crazy.

The Franchise 03-28-2018 08:42 AM

Who the **** is going to offer that? You would think that it would be someone who is on the cusp of making it to the Super Bowl. No way is a team like the Browns offering that.

I wouldn’t do it. Mahomes has the potential to be better than any drafted QB since 2012.

Probably

It’s just nuts for a wr that also needs a new co tract

You would have 6 first round picks for the next 3 years

That’s tough to turn down

Once the dust settled and we saw how bad things had gotten with Peters, I don't remember that many people being upset.

We've just seen 1 game though.

I have as high of hopes as anyone, but it's still super early.

And I'd take Wentz for sure.

Plus I could take one of those firsts and trade for a QB or something.

pugsnotdrugs19 03-28-2018 08:57 AM

QBs I would give three 1sts and a 2018 2nd and 3rd for:

Mahomes (I was always a huge fan, even more so now)
Wentz
Russell Wilson

That’s it. I’d give some thought to Rodgers IF my team was stacked as is, but otherwise his age makes it a no. Matt Stafford would be considered too if the team was stacked. That’s a trade I can only make for a young QB with elite potential, if not already elite.

but you couldnt trade one of those firsts for a qb. well not one thats good at least:D

The only teams I could see offering that would be:

Rams
Jaguars
Jets
Panthers
Browns
49ers

That's just cutting off the lifeblood of your roster. If someone offered that deal, the Giants would have broken their dicks from being so erect and accepting it.

Sure it strengthens them greatly in the short term, but you’re talking about giving up 5 great draft picks for a WR who has some baggage and needs to be paid like an above average QB soon.

I’d do it even with a division rival.

He’s gota he paid immediately. He’s not playing unless he’s paid.

3 of the 5 picks are at the bottom of their respective rounds, and barring something ridiculous the 2 future firsts will be near the bottom as well. It makes total sense, but holy shit that's a bitter pill for Giants fans to swallow.

Even then, that's what, 15 years of cheap labor you're giving up for a WR?

Theres just no way that's right and if it is, the Giants would have taken it

O.city 03-28-2018 09:20 AM

And if the Giants won't or don't take that deal, they don't really want to trade him.

I think I’d still do it. It’s just too crazy of a price for a WR not to accept IMO.

That's like trading Kelce to the Super Bowl winning Broncos. LMAO God, that would be painful.

O.city 03-28-2018 09:31 AM

I guess other than Mahomes, there isn't a guy on the roster I wouldn't trade in a heartbeat for that deal.

Hill, Kelce you name it.

Literally the only player that I'm not trading that for is Mahomes. And that's more because I think he has "it" and it took us this long to find a ****ing QB.

With what they'd get back there, they will shortly.

chiefscafan 03-28-2018 09:54 AM

I have to agree with pest. No way do I trade Mahomes every time I watch him I see that special It factor which helps QBs rise above the deficiencies of a team.

chiefscafan 03-28-2018 09:57 AM

But giants would definitely be signaling an all out rebuild. Fans wouldn't come to watch this pathetic team . Mean while draft is a crap shoot no idea if the six firsts pan out. You would have to have a lot of confidence in your front office to be able to evaluate and draft. Only way I do this deal is if it has hit the point of no return with OBJ.

DaNewGuy 03-28-2018 09:58 AM

If this trade is legit giants have to do it, finally get eli's replacement and load up on lbs and corners

O.city 03-28-2018 09:59 AM

On a free agency note, I like that the safety and rest of the DL market seems to be getting cheaper and cheaper.

Chiefs could end up swiping a nice S and one more DL on the cheap.

All this hoopla over Odell leaving but I still don't think the Giants have the balls to do it. Yes, the guy has had a few incidents, but let's be real here, it's not like he's been arrested or taken drugs or anything. People have been taking his so-called "bad behavior" way out of proportion. Brady has been caught cheating and has screamed down his coaches In public, I wonder why he's not labeled a "headcase" or a "problem"? HMMMMM.

Does partying make him a "headcase" or a bad person though? Like I said, he's made a few mistakes just like anyone else. But I'd put that down to a lack of maturity rather than being a terrible teammate. But the way folks talk you would have thought the guy has had multiple run Ins with the law and has failed various drug tests SMH.

Almost knocking yourself out with a kicking net is totally normal behavior in the NFL. So is this.

Because of his drug issues or because he's a running back wanting elite RB money?

They're paying him 12 mil a year on the tag.

Their QB has had rape and multiple off field issues, but they paid him.

O.city 03-28-2018 10:49 AM

The Chiefs current Tight end has had issues with similar things on the field and I don't care about it.

He's good and he produces. Teams put up with an equal amount of shit to your talent level and production.

If the Giants are or do move on from Odell, yeah, theres a lot of bad shit going on. Similar to Peters.
