He's fine with 1 trick ponies if he likes that trick, he's way more focused on the DLs run defending ability than the pass rush. It's why a guy like Malik Herring js still around yet Uche gets zero time.

It's makes looking at ends in the draft weird, if a dude is 255 super bendy and quick off the edge, Spags won't like him. If the guy is 265 plays with power and only has a bullrush Spags likes him.

Reid was asked the question yesterday about activating Nelson. Reid said he wouldn’t play.

Nelson must be cooked. Guess life comes at you fast. He was one of the highest graded corners last year.

We'd have sat Will McDonald for 2 season while trying to bulk him up to 280 lbs so he could play like Omenihu and Karlaftis.

The practice reports will tell the story. He's had two of three practices already and Andy says he's moving around well and doing one on one drills in pads. Worthy, Hop and Hollywood will no doubt be putting him through a stern test out there so hopefully he holds up well. If he gets in two full practices next week then he'll hopefully suit up next game.

Dude hasn't played a down and while the defense took a massive step back, overall it didn't end up costing us any games, just some yards and a few TD's here and there.

Williams actually played pretty well once he was put in place of Johnson. So this defense SHOULD be prime ASF for the AFCCG.

Pacheco came back earlier than expected and pretty much was himself from the get go. DB is a different animal I know but it makes me optimistic that we can be almost full tilt.

This is the time that Mahomes/Reid/Spags and the rest of the offense and defense tend to step up. Plus they have plenty of time to prepare for this game.

This was a pretty doable recovery. What was weird was the presumption that he was done for the season when there was still 12+ weeks left in the year.

Good on him for putting the work in, but a professional athlete in his mid-20s should've been able to make it back by the postseason.

He'd actually be pretty damn useful to have against Collins out wide.

McDuffie can hammer him in the slot, but out wide and deeper down the field, he can use his size to make life difficult for Trent. But I think he'd really struggle with Watson.

And if you take Collins out of the game, Houston will struggle to put up 13.

This is the playoffs. They aren't playing those Chiefs.

The Chiefs had Kingsley Suamatia getting Mahomes destroyed half the game, Hopkins had just been traded for, no Rice/Hollywood/Pacheco, Hunt was starting to feel run down from usage, Mahomes uncharacteristically missed a bunch of easy throws and McDuffie had the only bad game of his career that I can recall.

That was the easiest layup for Denver and they STILL blew it
