Kirkland Signature Vodka = Grey Goose
Kirkland Light Beer = Natural Light Yes....I love Natty Light too. Sometimes you have to go back from where you can from. |
Enjoying a rather large Manhattan tonite. If you're only having one drink, make it a big drink. You young fellows remember that.

Just did an old fashioned with Weller 12 and some orange bitters; those things are easy like Sunday morning. |
This is a "no name" sweet vermouth - Tribuno, which may well be a Gallo brand. I buy the smallest bottle I can find (then buy 2) I find sweet vermouth often goes flat on me before I use it up if I buy a 750 of it. I don't use much, but I usually do add a couple of different types of bitters - tonite was Peychauds and Angostura. And let's keep that Weller 12 to ourselves. They're putting too much good bourbon in fancy bottles and doubling the price - Weller 12 may be hard to keep under our hat.

I have a few of those in my fridge since I bought a 12 pack of their mixed variety pack. Also the Pearl Necklace Oyster Stout, Raging Bitch IPA and Snake Dog IPA. |
Last night I had a glass of this port on my deck with a PG Belicoso Cigar

Going to be pool time in a few hours. Not sure on what drink I'll make. I'll let any of you decide.
Paloma Margarita Montana Mule Dirty Lemonade Michelada Please note that I will be outside and using plastic cups so nothing breaks if I drop it. Penguinz will obviously not vote for Montana Mule if I can't use copper then. |

Grabbed it because I will drink pretty much any Boulevard product I can get out here. Head retention was practically nil. Very fizzy. I'm wondering if it hadn't sat on the shelf too long. (Although it was in a walk in when I bought it for what that's worth. And it's not skunky at all) Good tasting Pilsner. Not exceptional, but very good. |

You have a few brands I should try? |
Bulleit Rye is very good for the price. It will run you around $30 for a 750 ml. Rittenhouse Rye is also a very nice starter Rye and will run you around $25. It's bottled in bond, putting its ABV at exactly 50%, whereas Bulleit is around 45-47% ABV.
I like bourbon a lot but it's a very sweet spirit and I have found that Rye whiskey really hits the spot as its spicy nature makes it much easier to drink than bourbon, especially when drinking neat. |

Have some people I know in Montana who are selling what looks to be some great mix! It's a "hangover tonic" and Caesar Mix. Looks great to mix in many different drinks and also use this for cooking. I will probably order some soon!
