You guys should know by now the majority of football fans are stupid, a smart one is a rarity.

Only problem is he's a weakside guy so either Hali has to move or be moved off the team. |

That said, I think there's solid value in your pick. Probably had to give serious consideration to Cody. I also think a guy like Pouncey will be on the board in April, and he'll have to be a serious possibility. |
I will say this though. KC has a great stadium, Arrowhead. In St. Louis, we're stuck with a Dome. I think Pioli and Haley will turn the Chiefs around within two years.

They'd choose between Cody and Hughes in that spot, although I think there's a good chance Cody moved up into the late first. |

I agree OTW was in a tough spot.

Might be true about Cody. I'd rather go Benn and try to get Cam Thomas later. |

I thought you were pretty "meh" on Hughes. Forgive me if I'm wrong. |
There's a guy still up I think should have been picked by now...hopefully he'll fall to my Packers pick.
I still see 2 first rounders on the board, at least in my opinion. |
Quote:
1) Bulaga 2) Cam Thomas at 50 3) A project receiver with a broke ass foot at 3a Hughes is alright. I was hoping he'd fall to New England's second pick, actually. To me, I don't see a good deal of separation with these pass rushers, but Hughes, although not ideal from a size perspective, has shown that he can get after the QB |
What players do you think will slide into the 2nd Round?
|
Cody almost has to go to the Bills or Dolphins, I'd think.
|
I'm a huge fan of Demaryius Thomas, broken foot or not.

I want to thank Hamas for not drafting Patrick Robinson. That would have left me ****ed.

No way Clausen goes first overall.

I'll tell you guys where I think Thomas is really going if you wanna know.

I'm thinking he'll be going to the Panthers. |

Yes.. But anyways, what player will slide like Quinn or Rodgers did in the 1st Round? |
Thomas could also go to the Bills since Gailey recruited him.

I think DeMaryius Thomas is a virtual lock to be the Bengals 2nd round pick in the actual draft.
|
I thought the Rams Fan was funny until I saw him talking about Herm being a good coach....:shake:

If Johnny Utah hadn't blown out his knee in the '89 Rose Bowl against SC, would he have been the Cowboys' first pick over Aikman?

Quote:
Their option is a guy like Anthony McCoy who can step in and play right away. |
Quote:
They have DT as the first WR off the board @ 9 to JAX in the "Movin' the Chains" Mock on the Sirius NFL Radio Netwrok. |

Where does Gilyard end up?

Gilyard is one of those guys people either love or hate, personally I'm not big on that wagon.

LaFell?
|
I forgot about Gilyard when I made my pick. Whoops.
|
Chiefs need to draft the best LSU player available in the first.
|
Lafell I think will go a bit later than he should because of his poor 40 times.
Lafell is basically a Bowe clone so if you like Bowe you'll probably like him. |

Gilyard is a 3rd rounder.....

The OL crowd is gonna go nuts because the next best player at the Chiefs pick is going to be a defensive player...
|
This Rams Fan guy is a hell of a lot better than that ****tard jjnunley.

You know damn good and well I'm not taking OL when there are still impact players on the board. |
Whos the impact player your talking about? I don't draft til the 3rd round.

Hell, the way this is falling, I'm looking forward to my 3rd and 4th round picks. |

I would love for the Chiefs to take him at 2A. I think he'll be the best receiver out of this draft. |

I'm thinking the Raiders should start looking at the better offensive line prospects available. There's no instant player on defense that will make them better, so shoring up some talented linemen at this level is a reasonable goal.
Luckily, there's one right there when they pick. He's risen so far in the past months and he's only going to rise more when draft day hits. The Oakland Raiders select Vladimir Ducasse, OT, Massachusetts |

Despite having drafted Kelly Jennings, and Josh Wilson to shore this position up, neither guy has shown they have what it takes to be a consistent starter at the position. We're gonna try it again, and we're confident this kid has the speed, the skills, and the moxie to shore up our defensive back field.
When this young man sent his papers in to the draft committee he got them back and gave them to his coach so that the contents wouldn't be a distraction to him in his preparation for the National Championship. He has the heart of a lion, and really impressed at the combine with his 4.41 speed in the 40 yard dash. He has excellent bump coverage skills, good awareness in the zone, is aggressive against the line to help protect against the run, and is a strong wrap up tackler. While he lacks that additional gear to catch up after he's been beat, he has quick feet and a great burst out of his breaks to close on the ball. With the 40th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft the Seattle Seahawks select Kareem Jackson CB from Alabama. |
That's not bad I'd have probably taken Jackson at the Vikings pick had that been me.

Still a couple of 1st round values on the board...I consider Ducasse a 3rd round value so that surprised me a bit.
|
I don't really have a 2nd favorite NFL team. That's just how I roll. But I do like the Seahawks now that they're in the NFC. I follow them quite a bit. If this draft came down like this for them, holy shit.
|
With the Bills transitioning to the 3-4, they'll need a few things for that scheme, including a dominant nose tackle to help stop the run.
With Cody losing weight at the combine, he reassures his high 2nd round value. This pic also allows the Bills to having taken care of two of their top three needs without reaching in the draft. The Buffalo Bills select NT Terrence (Mount) Cody, Alabama. The Bucs are up next. |
We've had 11-12 picks so far today. Good job everyone.

so where do people value Tate?
would it be crazy to take him if he's there at the Chiefs 2a? (i'm assuming he won't last much longer, but maybe not true?) can't get over his time at the combine....we badly need a burner...charles, bowe, tate is the start of something solid.... |
