I'm positive that Roy meant no harm, and had no intention of embarrassing you.

I'd wager Money that he was just too excited after he got home from his trip, and didn't know how to express it, but here.

There is no reason to be embarrassed. No one here knows who you are.

Sometimes people do things that maybe they shouldnt', for the right Reasons. Roy's intentions were good. He asked because he wanted advice, and this is a pretty good place to get it.
