Yeah, I am a fan of Gus's

They have a few Jollibee stores in the coastal states here in the US and their chicken is go good.

I'm right there with you. I've had it multiple times, multiple locations and I don't see the attraction. It's not bad, there's nothing wrong with it. But I don't understand the attraction that creates super long lines, at least by me, out of the parking lot and onto the road.

They opened one in New Jersey and a friend of mine wanted to go. I took one look at the menu and said, no way. They might have good chicken but their food looks like ass in pictures. Maybe it's just the location here, but I have no desire even try it.

El Pollo Rey is better than either of them.

Not a chain, but absolutely worth mentioning for KC chicken.. Poio Mexican BBQ. Highly recommend.

Gus's seemed more like the old school original recipe from KFC, bit of a change from all the others that go for crunchy breading.

It's Zaxby's and it's not close.

The local Wendy's kicks ass at their spicy and homestyle sandwiches.

Get the fried chicken, adobo rice and a side of gravy and then report back. The mango pies are also incredible.

Chicken = poor people food

There's a Zaxby's near my work. When it opened it made some noise with its specials. Now it's barely an afterthought.
