This team is not a QB away from being a legit contender. It's a head coach away too.

Tech needs to put out a diss song towards Pioli. I would enjoy that.

Probably wouldn't hurt to have some depth in the secondary either...

Clark Hunt can become an instant legend in Kansas City by doing the following:

1. Immediately announce the termination of the contract of Scott Pioli, effective immediately.

2. Announce that effective immediately through next year, prices of all tickets and parking lot fees will be dropped to exactly what they were the last time the Chiefs won a playoff game, from 1993.

3. Apologize to the fans, the taxpayers of Jackson County, and especially to Season Ticket holders for the unacceptable results on the field, and the arrogance and trashing of Chiefs history off of it.

4. Announce that he is either moving to Kansas City full-time or selling the team, looking only for someone who will live in Kansas City and be a present owner.

5. Make no changes to this year's coaching staff, publicly saying that you want to maintain continuity on the field, but ultimately setting up for the top 5 draft pick that you will then hire a new GM and Coaching Staff who will draft and develop a new QB in the 1st round.

It's simpler than that.

1. Fire Pioli
2. Hire GM with assurance of aggressive plan to move up/do whatever is necessary to get Geno

Would love to see Clark's response to this if he were to somehow be aware of these necessary demands to restore trust with the fan base.

Or on the offensive line.

I hear ya, but I'm not sure you build everything around a plan to draft a guy that's in college. Geno's my preferred guy, and I would JIMP to hear Goodell send him to KC on draft day, but as long as there's someone you get a GM who understands the value of the QB position.

I'm sure behind closed doors Pioli has admited Cassel's performance is atrocious. I'm not sold on sending Pioli out the door, just yet. Cassel is the majority of the team's abyssmal record
Thirteen turn-overs in five games is a big reason we dwell in the gutters.

Honestly when you look at Scott's draft record, it's pretty bad. Outside of Justin Houston, where are the success stories?

I dont want this turd picking our ****ing QBOTF...**** that...egoli needs to be fired asap...romeo is just as worthless...if you wana be our d cord domeo then thats cool if not **** the hell off. egoli is trying to kill this team. chunt needs to stop suckin his dick and realize egoli is not the answer

Huh?

What more does he have to do to be fired?

Kick an old woman down a flight of stairs?

Again, hindsight is what it is, but he went out at the time and got the No 1 GM on everyone's list. You don't do that if your intent is just to make money.

I suspect if things don't turn around quickly, he'll force Pioli out after the year, or force him to go get a QB...

I agree with this!

The only thing anybody has to hold against Pioli is bringing Cassel to KC and giving him a contract that forced him to hacve to play him these two years. I think Cassel will be done now that Crennel took the ball out of his hands. Pioli has put together a talented team otherwise. When we have a DECENT QB Pioli will not stink anymore.

The final piece is in place. Brady Quinn. See everyone in NOLA.

He would leak to the public that a couple of KC fans walked by and cheered. That would deflect the attention from him yet again.
