I like the idea of Shanahan as the Head Coach, I just didn't want him, if he was going to be calling the shots on player personnel.

Shananananananahan hasn't had a fresh idea since almost as long as Carl, and drafts about the same (check)...(with the exception of Cutler)...he gets humiliated in playoff games (check), his FA signings suck (check), and his defenses suck ass (check)....

I'm so conflicted. The Rat in Red and Gold.... Arghhhh, I just can't wrap my noodle around it. I've spent over half my adult life hating that SOB, but he's a good coach and knows how to win. Pioli and him have potential that's for sure. I need a drink or 12
