Anyone else seeing all this stuff about how many more Chiefs fans are there? Sounds pretty drastic in favor of KC.

Also in that game, Peyton Manning looks OLD as hell. Some very poor throws that look like an old guy who doesn't have the juice anymore. At one point, Aikman mentions that Peyton was pretty much dink and dunk all the time during that playoff run. I really do feel it's a flawed comparison to bring up that Seattle/Denver game with this year's Super Bowl, but I've seen a lot of Niner fans and lazy media folks making the comparison. Old QB who was a statue in the pocket. Denver had slower weapons than what KC is packing. And I think the Seattle secondary was better than what San Fran is bringing to the table. I think the Chiefs will score plenty of points in this game. The big question is whether the KC defense can slow down the Niners offense enough to win the game. It's a legit question to ask. We'll see if the KC defense can get the job done. |

Won't be a factor. Like Greg Olsen said, it's a corporate crowd at the SB, not die hards |
I’m guessing there will a “Home Of the Chiefs” tomorrow

Watching that game, it's amazing that Peyton had a record-setting year. The ball doesn't come out of his hand all that great. Maybe it's similar to Drew Brees a year ago where he looked great for the first 90% of the year and then fell off a cliff. Old man syndrome. |
Quote:
Maybe he knows more about football than you? I haven't watched a SB in the last 30 years and thought to myself that one team clearly had a noise advantage that impacted the game |
Quote:
You tell me if that’s an advantage. |

Seems like it isn't as big of a deal as it used to be... "Home teams have won 56 percent of the games played in modern NFL history..." |

If it’s silent, they can time up the snap much easier. |
I think both teams will have new shit on offense that will make the defenses look bad at times. I think a lot comes down to OL protection and run defense, but the key will be which defense adjusts and is more prepared. I take Spags and our veterans over Saleh and his mostly young players.
I think Spags will show up just enough. 49ers 27 Chiefs 38 |
Whatever confidence we have now, most of us will be sweating bullets cone game time. Remember this though: this vaunted SF defense gave about 50 points and 500 yards to the Saints. They’re far from elite. We will out score them.

Or at least other 49ers fans elsewhere have. They had A LOT of trouble with Grady Jarrett. They did with Donald as well. If only we had a guy like that! Chris Jones might make himself a lot of money tomorrow. The opportunity is certainly there. |

Frankie is rooting for us. We got this. |
I have no idea who that is but bless his heart.

Probably a repost but this gave me firm, sturdy wood. Particularly the part about the 9ers D sucking ass against pre-snap motion.

As injured as our defense was they only allowed 23 points. But I guess those extra four points is enough for you to hang your hat on. |

Any given Sunday brother. We failed to score TD’s when we were on their side of the field and had to settle for FG’s. That last drive we had that Kittle fumbled was definitely a killer. He had the first down and possibly sealed the game. Instead settled for the FG and our “elite defense” didn’t come through. Im sure you were looking for a different answer but I’m just shooting it to you straight. Every team has those games. Well, any team not named the Chiefs of course. They’ve been running at 100% the whole season. |

This is exactly how I imagine 75% of all KC fans look like. He may be the skinniest one of the bunch also. |

‘Self deprecating’ hmmmm. I googled it. I’ve learned so many new words from this forum. I truly do appreciate all you guys. I’m not here to troll. I’m here to talk football, KC fans just can’t help themselves and and talk crap. So I do it back. Plus, it’s 2020 man. I can be on both KC forums and 9er forums. Mobile has made this so much easier. Maybe it’s time to upgrade from that pager you got there boomer. |

Negative to all those brother. I became a 9er fan at the age of 10 when the 9ers beat the Chargers in the superbowl. That was the first game I ever watched. For that reason also, I’m not the type of fan that throws out the “we got 5 Lombardis” I didn’t watch Montana play so in my opinion the best QB I’ve seen is Brady. Of course I know of Bill Walsh. Of course I know of Dwight Clark. So no brother man, I’ve been a fan of this 9er team since 95. They’ve had more downs than ups. I’m ok with that. It’s sports. Every team goes through it. |

Montana beat the 49ers the season they won the Super Bowl over the Chargers, back in 1994. Montana was the QB of the Chiefs. We annihilated the 49ers. Derrick Thomas almost killed Steve Young. |
I wonder how long a flight would seem if you're a SF fan in Miami flying home after a loss.

Thanks Rabbs i appreciate that lesson buddy. I wasn’t to familiar with football at that time but I remember being upset that Grbac went to play for KC. |

Because they are a shit fanbase |

I have nothing against KC. They’re a great team led by Golden Corrals #1 customer. And a QB that will keep your team competing for a Lombardi for years to come. |
