Andy Reid's 9 hour meeting w/ the Chiefs must be a record. Not even Scott Pioli's wife can stand 9 hours in a room with him.<s style="text-decoration: initial; color: rgb(187, 102, 102);">@</s>SaveOurChiefs |

Congrats, and good luck. You're last coach didn't exactly strike fear into your divisional opponents' fans. The same can't be said any more. |

In 1999, there were 5 QB's taken in the first 12 picks: Tim Couch, Akili Smith, Donovan McNabb, Daunte Culpepper and Cade McNown.
Safe to say Reid knew who to pick. Kevin Kolb is a scrub who Andy Reid made look like so good that an NFL team ponied up a good CB and a 2nd round pick. Mike Vick's first season with Reid was by far his best season as a passer and as a QB overall. Nick Foles was a so-so 3rd round draft pick who Reid has helped to look pretty decent with a 1,699 passing yards, 6 TD's, 5 INT's and 60.8% completion percentage in 7 games as a rookie. Anyone who questions Andy Reid's decision on a QB is a goddamn moron. Whoever he picks, I will fully support. |

Those Eagles teams always seemed to lose because McNabb was a choker, not because of Reid.

Sign him already, the more time I have to think about the more I sold on him, if I have to watch one more season of non TOUCHDOWN or 1 TOUCHDOWN scoring KC games I'm going to go crazy, hell half the points last season came in garbage time when they where getting blown out. Hope to wake up and Reid is HC, Poili is at the unemployment office, and Hunt making the statement I've been waiting on since noon
|
Just got a direct message from LB Edgar Jones he saw the Reid hire and likes it

Geno's way better than Kolb, who played in the spread in college, and Reid made him look pretty damn good. |
Just thinking about the combination:drool:

the awesome part is he is bringing with him a who's who staff of names
almost like bringing the band back together that got him his most successful years it certainly wont be like the staff he had in the final season of Philly. It will be all the guys that did so well they went out and go promotions as coaches elsewhere but failed. I am fine with that, because essentially we will have 4 to 5 guys with HC experience on the staff, and that is some heavy artillery of experience |

Geno sucks. And so does McNabb. And so does Reid. |

Well he didnt say he likes it but im assuming (i know Romeo)
with e.jones 9m Yea just saw that |
What's the point of LA Chieffan on this board?
|
Geno doesnt suck. He's far from suck. He may have struggled but they all do. Remember Gruden grilling Luck over that horrendous INT last year?

And I just have to post this link again, I laugh my ass off every time I watch it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4gNFL2upZE |
Eric Berry needs to be Brian Dawkins lite for this to work.

Now it's just annoying. |
Quit making him cover TEs and keep him back at times and he'll be good. Use him in exotic blitzes because he's good

I will say good things about Eric Berry once he is able to guard an average NFL tight end.

It's hard to believe Reid is only 54. Chip Kelly is considered the fresh young guy in this field of available coaches, and he's only 5 years younger. Crazy.

Is it possible? Absolutely. Berry certainly has the talent. |
LMAO That little #22 behind him doesn't even come up to Reid's butt! And they misspelled his name on the graphic, it said "Andy Ried".

The expectations of some are just ridiculous. Brian Dawkins couldn't cover a tight end and that was before all of them were NBA power forwards. |

Didn't mean to interrupt everybody's circle jerk. Continue wacking off to a mediocre coach who gets his quarterbacks killed, ignores defenses and weaknesses, and couldn't figure out when to use a timeout if his life depended on it. Oh and not to mention had one of the most talented rosters ever put together and failed miserably.
You guys always whine about getting other teams rejects, well enjoy hypocrites. |

I don't know which topic to post this stuff anymore, but whatever. Eskin is on the radio right now locally again and he said some more things about Reid.
He said KC had to sell themselves to Reid just as much as he had to sell himself to them. He said he was ready to go to Arizona, but he enjoyed his time with the Chiefs so much that he blew it off and Arizona was annoyed because they had to change their plans. Andy Reid told the brass that he would be perfectly fine working with Pioli, but that is probably only because Pioli was in the meeting room and Andy Reid didn't want to disregard him right there. But privately, Andy Reid wants his own guy as GM. Said the Chiefs are 100% sold on Andy Reid being their coach, and if either side were to hold this up, it would be Reid not 100% sold on the Chiefs, but it is still very close. |

Gets quarterbacks killed? Before Vick, The Eagles ALWAYS had a great offensive line.
Ignores defenses? More hyperbole from this ****stick. Seriously, some of you aren't qualified to have an opinion on socks. **** yourself Chieffan. You're a ****ing drain on this board. A complete waste of bandwith. |

there were like 3 or 4 Pro Bowlers on that offensive line that protected Vick the last 3 years.
not their fault they all got ****ing hurt lol |
In those 7 games he played, Foles was without LT Jason Peters and star WR DeSean Jackson.
These are Foles projected rookie stats should he have played 16 games 3,833 passing yards 14 TD's 12 INT's 60.8 completion % 79.1 QB rating Holy shit Reid is ****ing awesome with QB's. Can't wait until next year. |

I'm kind of disappointed we didn't go after Skip, but there is no telling he he will work out anyway. We could do a lot worse than the Walrus. Plus as others have pointed out, good coaches like to work with him.
|
and what's your point. That Eric Berry is going to magically move to FS now that Romeo is gone?
based on what? Your ability to make him a FS in the game of Madden where you think he is better? So, your opinion? good thing you are not the coach of anything |
