After watching Big 12 perennial underachiever Baylor take down the SEC's prom queen on the hardcourt, the question must now be asked: Is the Baylor Ath Dept better overall than any single SEC program? The answer is obvious but if anyone has an SEC school who can compete with Baylor just toss out a name or two.

Of course, Baylor's finding success in the last 2 or 3 years is comparable to a century or so for those SEC schools.

I love listening to Bambi and the Bitch talking shit on Mizzou.
It's akin to 90s Colts fans talking shit on Buffalo, or 00s Detroit fans smacking on Philly.

I'm not sure. The last time I saw Baylor in person, Mizzou blew them out in front of a packed house in Kansas City and walked away with a trophy.

Yeah, I am sure PB will be along presently to try to dismiss that result with a computer print out.

All it took for Baylor to get good was having a third of the conference leave only to have TCU and WVU replace them.

Let me see what I can do...

10: Mizzou score 90

20: Baylor score 75

30: GOTO SEC

Eleazar 12-07-2013 12:14 PM

LMAO you don't see a lot of COBOL jokes anymore

Once again he is being selective with his comments.....The SEC Prom Queen, in reality the UK Women's BB team beat Baylor in OT at what was really a home game for Baylor although played at a "neutral" court.

Baylor beat the "Prom King" (not sure that is really anyone's assessment but his) of the SEC at what was pretty much a home game for them also.

I think it's too early to claim any overall College Athletic Department is better than the other. Of course what he is really trying to claim is that the Football and Basketball teams are better than any other college team in the SEC which once again is too early to claim.

It was not much of a home game for Baylor, there was a **** ton of empty seats there last night. I am starting to think there are too many neutral site events going on in college bball---I have noticed a lot of empty seats at events this year.

I can't think of a reason to care.

Big basketball day today.

Congrats to Mizzou, btw. Nine point win over UCLA makes us 9-0 with the longest home court winning streak in the nation.

Posted this in the basketball thread:

Did not know Mizzou was playing, but caught some of the second half due to it being on prior to the football game. The wall-to-wall Mizzou coverage has been incredible, though.

Mizzou football: 5th in the country

Mizzou basketball: 9-0

Hell, football, basketball (men's and women's), volleyball at Mizzou are a combined 63-2 this season.
