I mean, getting beat is one thing but not even trying is another.

Not to add fuel to the fire.

How could this scouting staff not see this on tape from BYU? It’s like everyone else saw it but us

Not only because he allowed Mahomes to get the throw off but we are really lucky he chose to swing Mahomes down and not just crush him.

At least he got his hands on thuney. Small victories.

No but seriously, I don't think he has any idea what happened on that play. Like he got beat so bad he didn't even see or register what happened. Why else doesn't he turn around and at least try to hold the guy that beat him?

Remember when Thuney played LT for a bit? That was an emergency. This is too.

God damnit BWillie we posted at the same time and I got ****ED!!!!

I was real excited about this kid in camp/preseason. He definitely showed some flashes. It seems like he’s lost all confidence though and has regressed to what we witnessed yesterday. I don't remember ever seeing such an awful performance from a chiefs tackle. Even I-65 Jordan Black held up better than Kingsley did yesterday.

-King- 11-11-2024 08:43 PM

I just realized that on none of the videos I've watched does he even attempt to help Mahomes get back up after allowing him to get hit. That's almost as bad as his play. This one is especially bad

Yeah, his body language seemed awful. It seemed like he was disinterested, like he couldn’t care less that he was getting beat and his QB was getting smashed. It’s the opposite of a guy like Trey smith who plays so passionately- you can tell how pissed he is if he gets beat.

That is even more concerning than the shitty technique itself.

That means either 1) he doesn’t care or 2) he’s so mentally ****ed in terms of confidence that he doesn’t realize how bad it looks post snap.

One of the first plays after Wanya went out, Kingsley ran over to the far right boundary and helped Kareem up off the grounds. Someone probably yelled at him to get back to the huddle.

Yeah dude, **** that guy. I noticed that too. Gets Pat killed and doesn't even care. Absolutely doesn't belong on this team

pugsnotdrugs19 11-11-2024 09:27 PM

Idk why I just randomly thought of this during MNF, but I still remember 2013 Week 3 when Justin Houston baptized rookie Lane Johnson on TNF for 3 sacks.

Now there’s not a chance in hell that Kingsley is Lane Johnson. But, we definitely are prisoners of the moment right now. Just have to hope he wants it bad enough to get a lot better.
