Good fight. those Dagestani fighters are world class. Ankalaev is a really well rounded fighter. Pereira hasn't faced a fighter like that who can stand toe to toe and make him hesitant and react instead of attack the hunter becomes hunted.

An elite grappler will always have the advantage over a kickboxer like Pereira. although he did a good job defending the takedown. (Ankalaev was 0-12 on takedowns.) he didn't move forward and attack like he usually does because the takedown/clinching threat so
Ankalaev controlled most of the fight just a good game plan and execution on Ankalaev's part.

Tonights card is going to be a good one.
