Especially considering where this team has been and with the credibility that Andy Reid brings. Andy is one of the better QB coaches and we are finally in a position to get one after 30 years. And you can't get excited. Dude that is like a beautiful woman asking you to **** her brains out and you just can't get up for it. |

Here's the latest info I received:
-They have to figure out how they are going about terminating Pioli. As many reported earlier today, Pioli has final say in all football operations written into his contract. Clark can't break that deal. They are trying to negotiate a buyout and let him go wherever he wants, but obviously Pioli wants all of the money. He did get a 2 year extension earlier around the time I got the info that the extension was happening. -Tom Heckert is in demand and Andy may just elect to either wait for the Packers to be out (may be waiting a while) or he could entertain Ray Farmer in the role. There's some connection between Farmer and Reid that I can't link but they say they have a fondness for each other. -Doug Pederson as QB coach, Castillo at OL, Bobby April as ST coach. Haven't heard a thing about RB or WR. He likely will bring Melvin the TE coach too. The only coach that has a chance to stick is Otis Smith as secondary coach, but that will be determined by DC. As I said earlier the Kiffin smoke was quickly put out, Ray Horton would be ideal, but they aren't going to wait around on him either to see if he gets another job. Dick Jauron is the new flavor of the hour as a guy linked to the DC job with Reid. -Reid is going to completely overhaul the organization. He's bringing in his guys in every facet. Scouts, equipment managers, trainers, strength people. All will be Reid's guys. -Shurmur or Childress will be O-coordinator. Varying opinions on who it would be. Me personally, I think Childress is it. -Reid wants a 5 year deal. Chiefs, in standard fashion, offered 3. They'll get to 5 years around 38 mill when it's all said and done. -Clark Hunt has done a masterful job taking back control of his franchise over that ****ing weasel Pioli. |
Adam Teicher is the most worthless piece of shit. His radio interviews today were ****ing embarrassing.

I'm hearing that regular ChiefsPlanet poster J Diddy is a total chump. Developing... |
Remember that we aren't just filling a position here...we're completely changing the whole organization: how communication works, accountability, contracts, possibly new positions, etc. I hope we get something definitive tonight, but its a lot of minutiae. As long as they're in agreement on the principles of the deal, I'm good.

Clark, you signed the extension, you are worth a billion dollars, pay the ****er and move on. |
What is Jauron's philosophy on D?

I believe Ray Farmer used to play for the Eagles.
Good info, no wonder it's taking so long, they're gutting it. |

Eagles fan checking in
Congrats guys. You just landed a great coach. I had my doubts about Geno Smith but not anymore because Reid knows how to get the most out of quarterbacks. Good luck. |

It'll pay off if he has a sea of red again...buying 20 dollar burgers and hot dogs....10 dollar beers....all kinds of apparel and shit...screaming their heads off. Winning. Everyone likes winning. |

and clark...consider the buyout an expensive lesson |

Jaguars Defensive Coordinator under Coughlin when they were good. He served under Reid as DB coach in Philly and was Shurmur's DC in Cleveland. |

I just hope there is a big story about the changes and how awful Pioli is...I love reading that shit.
Seems like the Eagles organization has never been CIA lite. They have always been open with the fans and former players. |

Is it wrong that I want Pioli and Cassel to get paid handsomely to **** up another team, just so I can watch and laugh?

Of course, I am also going to have to visit Big Charlies :) |

Most of us are happy as hell with Reid, and the promise of possibly having a competent QB. |
Pioli is a major fraud. I can't wait to se where he goes just to see how badly he ****s up their team.

pioli, crennel, and cassle ran a racket on Clark that probably cost him close to $100 mill (for just the 3 of them)...

I need the good news tonight. It's going to be a tough one since KSU is getting their asses beat.

I saw a tweet today from that Philly reporter that said the Eagles would not let Duce Staley out of his contract with the team. I imagine Reid wanted to bring him to KC too. Staley is currently the special teams quality control coach for the Eagles. |
