I think smart people have eliminated billboards as a message. They are expensive and the message is too static. We need something that needs to be able to change quickly if necessary. For instance, had we bought a "bench Cassel" billboard last week, we would look pretty stupid this week.

For instance, the rotating ad screen billboards are $600 per day around here. Just the printing and sending out a crew to install a traditional billboard is a couple grand and then they want you locked into a 6 month contract. Billboards in the big city aren't wise investments for grass-roots efforts - especially billboards with close proximity to Arrowhead.

I would suggest an ongoing radio ad, but cost effectiveness isn't any better going that route than a billboard.

I heard Fescoe talk about it this morning. Said after the game, Clark and Daniel Hunt were in the locker room, which is usual, but Pioli was not there, which he said is unusual. He also said that Daniel left to attend Romeo's presser, but Clark didn't attend which is unusual.

Clark has to realize that he can make that change now. It doesn't matter that it's a short week. It's not like this team can play any ****ing worse than they are now.

Pioli probly told each of them where they could/couldnt go. He was probly in the stadium on wrapper duty.

Probably busy making sure any "Fire Pioli" signage was promptly picked up and destroyed.

GM/Coach combo is cheaper than hiring both. Clark is still going to be paying Pioli after all. Plus Clark is going to have to sell ST. Best way is to get a big name guy that will draw a crowd and media attention, and draft a QB in the fist. I'm not going to say he is the right coach to win with, but he is the right coach to sell tickets and possibly win with.

I still think Hunt finds a way to work Marty back in to the fold too. Gotta cash in on people's memories of a bygone era.

If Pioli isn't fired immediately following the season, there should be a Season Ticket pledge that goes around all of KC, that declares every person who has signed it will purchase at least 1 season ticket if and only if Pioli is fired. The opposite could be done as well for current season ticket holders, but I think having a big ass bonfire fed by ticket renewal forms would be much more fun to watch... sort of like a bra burning protest.
