Reid has taken on character issue guys before and gotten big production out of them in the past, and if you can't get your shit together to play for a players coach and run routes for Mahomes, then your career is toast already.

Hell if it gets Skyy Moore the **** off punt return duties for eternity its already worth it.

Depends on the fan, some of them are upset he's gone because of the potential he's probably one of the 5 most electric guys in the league with the ball in his hands.

Others are glad he's gone because "never played, attitude issues, at least we got something"

The same shit that would be going on here honestly...the Giants hired a Patriots guy they better get used to the idea that anyone with any type of personality or life goals is probably not gonna be on their team.

I highly doubt they keep Higgins because he's going to know that he can get WR1 money elsewhere.

Burrow and Chase are too good to break up.

It's still Cincy do you see them legit having the highest paid QB and WR? I mean that's a team that has always been cheap...

If they do that they are gonna literally go super cheap everywhere else.

I fully expect that.

The Locked on Giants guy was "heartbroken" that Toney was gone. (Hooray!)

But he was also shocked the Giants got so much for him. (hmmm)

It was because they all thought he had no worth because he wasn't playing, early stuff was they'd be lucky to get a 5 or 6 so they'd probably keep him.

Not a chance in hell JuJu gets 75-80M.

Go look at the FA WR list after this year, it's trash and that position always gets overpaid.

Dude, I watched a pile of film on Toney last night and got so excited I had a hard time getting to sleep. There's just so much potential with this guy to be the answer to our WR room, especially in the long-term. If he can stay healthy.

My biggest question is were his injuries legitimate, or were they a product of not wanting to be there. Calling in sick, so to speak.

But, we won a superbowl with a brokedick making a pretty God damn big play late in that game in Sammy Watkins. Maybe a brokedick is the missing ingredient for our post season success. Brokedick also caught the title game sealing td pass against the Titans.

So if he actually is a brokedick, it may not be all doom n gloom.

What?

Byron Pringle, Chicago Bears
Allen Lazard, Green Bay Packers
Deonte Harris, New Orleans Saints
Jamison Crowder, Buffalo Bills
A.J, Green, Arizona Cardinals
Mecole Hardman, Kansas City Chiefs
JuJu Smith-Schuster, Kansas City Chiefs
Jarvis Landry, New Orleans Saints
Nelson Agholor, New England Patriots
Sammy Watkins, Green Bay Packers
Zach Pascal, Philadelphia Eagles
Keelan Cole, Las Vegas Raiders
Willie Snead, San Francisco 49ers
Parris Campbell, Indianapolis Colts
Greg Ward, Philadelphia Eagles
Darius Slayton, New York Giants
Demarcus Robinson, Baltimore Ravens
Sterling Shepard, New York Giants
Randall Cobb, Green Bay Packers
James Washington, Dallas Cowboys
DJ Chark, Detroit Lions
Marvin Jones, Jacksonville Jaguars
Julio Jones, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Cam Sims, Washington Commanders
N’Keal Harry, Chicago Bears
Josh Gordon, free agent
Jalen Guyton, Los Angeles Chargers

He's arguably the best WR on that list...It could easily come in at 17 mill a year from a bad team...

Shit Hardman could get 12 a year in a group like that.

If he turns into Sammy Watkins, the trade was worth it IMO. Getting that kind of production out of an acquisition so cheap is just gravy.

Re: next season, if the Chiefs feel comfortable with how Toney fits in and performs, they are in such excellent shape.

Moore and Valdes-Scantling will be back. What does it take to get Smith-Schuster done? If you can get him locked up at WR2 money ($16-18M/per) for the next 2-3 years, that seems like a win to me. Youd' be spending about $30M total on the WR position in that case, and have a nice, 4-deep unit that doesn't have a clear alpha but that has a plethora of complementary options that are set up to devastate both zone and man coverages.

If they can get Toney "right" from a health and motivation standpoint, he also has the physical abilities to be a true No. 1 for them in a Diggs-type mold (not a pure burner but a guy who is so tough to match up with 1x1 as a route runner that he can get deep better than you'd think).

I am excite.

Some people will view that as a negative - that he's not committed enough - but honestly, it sounds to me like someone who has some perspective on how little of his life will actually be spent playing football.

The guys that let football define them usually end up emotionally shellshocked when the time eventually comes.

of course none of us know Patrick personally, but he seems pretty committed to being the best he can be on the football field, makes time for the family and daughter. Hangs out with his buddies playing call of duty, does his side businesses and works out to stay in shape.

Seems doable to me.
