It's that pesky side to side that's important.

Exactly the case. Or focus on the "Next man in" if they're going to make a trade.

I really think it's more of a distraction to us, I think the players are used to this kind of stuff.

IMO, Rice's knee is ****ed up, and no way am I counting on him to return this season.

Agree, he was a liability because of his off-the-field antics, now he's added being a medical issue/liability to the roulette the team has to deal with in terms of his attendance. I'm sure he's feeling like crap for how his life has progressed in the months since the SB, but one of the two he had complete control of, injuries happen.

A Browns player did this last year

This would have to be the case. Fans that root against the Chiefs see the situation as a chance to hurt the Chiefs, but the Chiefs didn't do anything wrong in the matter. Rashee Rice was the one that did something wrong, so the suspension is a big fine and that satisifies the need of punishing the player.

How can he serve a suspension that has not been handed down? He can't. The NFL will not get involved with suspension and such until the criminal case is over. We all know this.

Florio is reporting that Rashee will have exploratory surgery next week to determine the nature of the injury.

And F Florio.
