Well, it's a tribute to the character of Bray Wyatt who unfortunately passed away. Bray Wyatt is who originally did the modern spooky shit and at this point he'd done multiple different iterations. The leader in the video you quoted is the legit brother of Bray Wyatt.

They're the sons of Mike Rotunda, probably better known as IRS.

Haven't we seen this before?

Big Pay Per View....all the champions win and then the next week evil reigns?? (Yes I know Cargill and Belair lost but by all rumors that was because of a botch)

The Wyatt Sicks reeks of the old McMahon Evil One gig where he threw the monkey wrench of revealing he was the bad guy all along. It wouldn't surprise me if sometime along the line Uncle Howdy turned out to be Triple H.

As for the good vs bad Bloodline....are we going to see The Rock and Roman hook up with Jimmy and Jey Uso to take on Solo and his henchmen?

Triple H said he doesn't want to be anything on TV other than a host since he can't really take bumps anymore. Uncle Howdy is Bo Dallas anyway.

Yeah....saying it and doing it for someone like Triple H are separate things....and it wouldn't be unheard for him to change his mind....and also not take any bumps.

And...in regards to Bo Dallas being Uncle Howdy it wouldn't be unlike the WWE to pull a swerve. Plus do we really thing Bo Dallas can pull off being Uncle Howdy.

But the real question is where do they take Seth Rollins next? Do they have him inserted somehow into the Punk/McIntyre feed because Punk cost him?

Sassy Squatch 07-06-2024 07:06 PM

Plenty of ways to go with him in particular. Join the IC title picture, have one last match with Cena at Summerslam, or (and it pains me to say this for him) be the first real feud for the Wyatt Sicks.

Sassy Squatch 07-06-2024 07:11 PM

I have a feeling Cena is winning the Rumble to main even with Cody Rhodes. So it'd be Roman/Rock and Cena/Rhodes for the two main events.

The only problem with that is that you would have 2.of the biggest fan favorites (Rollins and Zayn) going up against each other.....that's not something they would want to do.

Bron involved as well. Although he may very well be in the match with McIntyre and Punk as well.

Sassy Squatch 07-06-2024 07:22 PM

If they've decided Lesnar has served his time in purgatory him coming back and wrecking the Bloodline for what they did to Heyman culminating with Lesnar vs Solo or Jacob Fatu at Mania would be ****ing money.

Saw it afterwards. He was legitimately knocked unconscious I'm pretty sure or at least very loopy. When he smacked his head into the back of the table looked like he had a fencing response.

Sassy Squatch 08-03-2024 09:03 PM

Oof. Really hope that was a work by Fatu.

irafreak 08-03-2024 09:06 PM

Not sure what they were doing tonight? Felt like swerves just to keep us guessing but most of it didn't make sense.

Why did Roman come back AFTER Cody had regained the advantage? Just to make us wonder who he would attack. But then who he chose made no sense then since his interference didn't turn the tide.

Drew goes off about punk being beaten to literal death then proceeds to attempt pitfalls after each move. Wtf?

Gunther made to look weak!?!? with assistance as we spent months wondering if damien was a legitimate champ due to questionable wins. So of course we'll make him look strongest as he loses.

Dominik plays the perfect dupe but then he what just changed his mind as liv looked surprised afterwards. They can still work with this storyline but I liked dopey dom.

Just a mess when you actually look at all they were building just to jettison it quickly to ?stun? us?

Matches were clean and entertaining but just odd plot moves.

GloucesterChief 08-03-2024 09:14 PM

They foreshadowed Roman coming back when Solo said he was weak last night.

I’m pretty sure it was.

He was in the shot at the end with Solo. Normally they sneak the injured people out.

I think it was just a way of explaining why he didn’t interfere the rest of the way.

All those years off Vince shoving Roman down our throats and him getting boo’d and chirped mercilessly by a WWE universe that refused to accept him, has finally gotten over.

Uhh, wut? Literally the most predictable WWE PLE EVER. The only thing I half-ass agree with is Gunther being made to look weak.

smithandrew051 08-03-2024 09:49 PM

I think they got most of it right tonight. You can see the beginnings of the build to Mania.

I’m expecting a Triple Threat between Seth, Drew, and Punk to main event Night 1. I could see one of the 3 beating Gunther before then, so the title is on the line.

Clearly building to the rematch between Liv and Rhea. Rhea seems like the obvious Rumble winner if they can wait that long.

I’d bet we’re getting Rock vs Roman at Mania. Especially, with Roman branding himself as the Original Tribal Chief. Probably get some kind of Bloodline War Games at Survivor Series.

Sassy Squatch 08-03-2024 09:57 PM

Yeah, War Games couldn't be anymore obvious. Only intrigue is who is the 4th man for Reigns team. I'd shit bricks if they actually managed to convince Lesnar to do it, unless they're just going to put Cody in it and not have his title be defended.

I’d almost like to see the Usos turn on Roman and side with Solo. Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa seem to botch almost everything they touch.

Solo, Usos, and Fatu vs the Heyman team of Roman, Punk, and Brock. Then maybe their 4th is someone like Sami Zayn if Jey joins Solo.

That won’t happened obviously, but I’d like to see it.

GloucesterChief 08-06-2024 08:11 AM

Hope they don't job out Reed after that segment. That is how you build a heel. Crowd was hilarious chanting one more time then signing Seth's theme music.

Sassy Squatch 08-06-2024 08:21 AM

Nah, they ****ed it up almost entirely. The fans were loudly cheering him on by the time he got to a half dozen and the officials look ****ing stupid for waiting until it got that far to just move Rollins out of the way

Mosbonian 08-06-2024 09:18 AM

Last night really was a head scratcher part of the time...

The Judgment Day turn against Rhea and Priest was a good one to start...helping build to a Rhea vs. Liv rematch....with the battle between the New Judgment Day vs. Priest as a nice sidelight....

The whole Bronson Reed and Seth Rollins segment was silly...so what are you going to do now with that? Honestly I don't see that one gaining any heat...plus I think Reed is not that talented...a little stiff in my book.

Is there going to be a new addition to New Day to take Big E's place.....and honestly the whole Karrion Kross bit is stale and time to move on from it.

Last night seemed to be a bit out of context....just my opinion.

He's too stiff ....I could see him and Otis having a good battle that would interest me....but otherwise I catch no heat with him on anything he has done to this point.

Sassy Squatch 08-06-2024 09:35 AM

Agreed. Don't really understand why they're having him feud with Seth either. He's routinely failed at the role of being a sympathetic Babyface against a monster heel. It's just not the role for him.

They lack star power. Most of their current top guys would be midcarders 20 years ago. The overall look and charisma is lacking with 95% of the roster.

Or Sting, Macho Man, Triple-H, Kurt Angle, Undertaker, Jericho. Doesn't have to be Hogan or Austin necessarily. Even that next tier had more charisma than today's roster.

Interesting point, Bret Hart once put out a list where he said you rank wrestlers from 1-10 in categories, promo, look, ring work etc

He said Macho Man is the only wrestler who he gives 10's to across the board.
